Truth be told, got another text saying it was a done deal and backed out of posting the info because I am scared it is a setup. From the same dudes that let me know Kiff called wanting the job immediately following the firing.
Word is breaking and it was nice to be in on the know if so.
If not, it was fun to be bamboozeled as well.

Don't worry Rev, I heard the same thing around 2pm today. I think it's legit, and the team is supposed to know soon.
They haven't steered me wrong yet, so we'll see. I imagine they're hearing this from their own "reliable sources" too, except theirs would actually know what's going on and are family to them.

That’s what I’ve been hearing. I don’t have a real good feeling about this one which is kind of like our other recent hires. I also realize we are not exactly a destination for elite, proven head coaches so I guess we have to do the best we can with what we have to offer and hope the person hired grows into the position, making us competitive again.
And yes the “newness” of whatever it is makes people feel excited and giddy no matter what the change is in life. But it is also always true that only time will tell whether this was a good hire.
