I don’t think he was coasting like some people have said. That’s bullshite and he doesn’t deserve that. I think he actually was feeling the pressure too much and just didn’t get it done. He was clearly pressing against Oral Roberts.

We ran into Khalil and his family after the game. Gave them huge props and they loved we knew who he was. Said this is why our fan base is like no other.

Everyone needs to can it with the Moody criticisms. He 100% needs to go lottery pro. It’s great marketing for us.

Love Moody and it would be a dream for him to come back....he can't if the NBA will write him a check. I don't understand the evaluations either, but then again, I have no plans to ever watch another NBA game again (and I was a huge Bulls fan living in Chicago at one point in the mid 90s).

KK was a bigger deal than Devo coming out of HS, played earlier and more often. Yeah...we missed him worse than we know.

We'll have enough coming back, the ability to add more than we lose and hopefully...an elite coach on board for years.

Hog basketball is hopefully back for awhile! I'm thrilled!

I hope Desi is able to forget about his play this season and pick up where he left off in 2020. Maybe the minutes he got in the tournament will give him a boost going into the offseason. We need the real Desi back.

I can’t wait to see the transfer options. I bet we bring in more than ever.

People busy bashing Moody and not mentioning how we literally didn’t have a single additional option that could reliably knock down open jumpers.

Unless someone unexpected is leaving than we only have two spots with Moody going Pro

Will be interesting to see if Muss "asks" anyone to step away

agreed...

I don't believe I bashed Moody, But as I said, I am ready for him to go pro... For several reasons, mostly for his own benefit. To continue the recruiting prowess by Muss.

Him being 1 and done will, should help in recruiting others studs.

But even Muss called him out a bit in the game with the reporter... Right? Something like, "Thats up to Moses".

Yes he said that and you can probably take it that way but with the way we play offense, any player can take control when they want to for the most part.

This.

Having a freshman wind up as a lottery pick is a great recruiting tool, especially in the era of the 1 and done.

Devin Booker is having a fine NBA career without creating his own shot. Maybe he can now but he absolutely couldn’t at the same stage of his career.

I actually noticed when we played Booker and Kentucky. This whole thread was just me pointing out, you can go 10-15m of game time and forget that Moses is out there.

Does he deserve the money NBA teams will offer him, idk. But he should take it. This whole thing wasn’t to shite on him for being soft or a quitter. It was just to point out, I notice when Devo, Justin Smith, Tate, Notae, Jaylin Williams are out there. I forget Moses is for large portions of the game.

The people attacking him on Twitter are dumb, just trying to get likes and retweets.

He isn’t Jesus Chris, he can he criticized.
Just the ones I’ve seen other than forgetting he is out there for large portions are poorly articulated BS.

He’s the same player he’s been all year. Just don’t understand where and why certain fans expected him to suddenly become MJ in the Elite 8.

And I have said all year I forget he is out there. Just like I have said Tate is a liability when not on defense and I don’t know if it’s worse Notae makes one or misses one, because if he makes one he just shoots non stop and if he misses the first few he shoots dumb shots.

I don’t know what he will do in the NBA but hopefully he gets the opportunity and makes bank.

But he reminds you of a big contributor on an NBA champion... Gotcha

Will you listen to the point I'm making? He reminds me of a small ball 4 that can't play the 3. Is Moses a small ball 4 to you?

His game reminding me of a mediocre small ball 4 is not a compliment. If he was about 4 inches taller, he'd have a chance to be a trash player on a trash team, too.

Your point makes no sense because Harrison Barnes wasn't an end of a bench guy or a trash player. He was a starter on an NBA championship team.

Ohh okay.

I guess all Moses has to do is get drafted by an all-time stacked team and that'll make him worth a lottery pick.

He doesn't have the athleticism or skill to play 2 or 3 in the NBA. He can be guarded by 3s and 4s, but he won't be able to guard them, much less 2s. I'm saying his size makes him a poor man's Harrison Barnes.

I'll be thrilled to be wrong. I don't want him to fail. I just don't see the appeal. I've willfully fellated our guys for years, hoping the Mavs would draft them. I don't have that for Moses. I just don't see it.

And you could have been the 5th starter on that Warriors team.

Moody didn't reliably hit open shots toward the end of the year. Not bashing him but it's the truth. You're shorting Devo by saying that. He was much more reliable when it counted.

Not really. He went 3 for 17 behind the arc during the tourny. 17.6% compared to 35.8% for the year.

The last two games he shot a terrible 20% FG percentage, missing 24 total shots.

It's not hard to understand why people expected more.
