We are unsure of whether we can beat North Texas. Embarrassing to think that we actually may lose. Frick you Bert and your lackadaisical coaching and recruiting. You and your bottle of Tito’s have singlehandedly made us a laughing stock.

Rant:

yes, yes it is....

CBS sports, USA Today, Bleacher report, and even our own Bruce and Baz have picked North Texas to beat us this Saturday.

Unbelievable.. the depths to which we have fallen.

One thing Chad has going for him is that I'm not sure he can eclipse (intended) Bert in the 'full of shite' category. frick Bert and his empty words.

We were in the same position during John L's grand adventure and Petrino's first year. We'll be fine.

We were supposed to have some talent back on the defense. I haven't really seen it, and the stats show we are a heaping pile of dogshite

When your offense can’t manage a 1st down, that shite happens.

If Bobby hadn't done what he did, we would have never ended up with Bert's lazy self in the first place. I still blame Petrino. I miss the days of winning - Broyles, Holtz, Hatfield.

I actually like what I've seen out of the Defense.

The problems have been miscommunications and not a lack of talent.

Callaway has been picked on a little bit, but he's still young.

Once Greenlaw gets back it will improve. Bumper has done well in his place.

Great lesson to teach our young uns that life is not fair. Bert sucks, gets fired and paid 20 million, and then scores a job working for the Pats.

I have too. Our offense ran 8 plays in the 4th quarter. Not hard to see why the defense gave out.

Chad needs to get his offense cranked up, but I'm afraid we can't do that with the current QBs that have been playing. Maybe we can find a RB that can play the Wildhog some this season.

This. We weren't competing for any championships this year anyway.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a lot of Treylon Burks in the wildcat next year. Warren plays him there a ton because he's an amazing athlete, and he's a better passer than their actual "QB." That's how he racked up 27 rushing TDs last year. I watched some old Clemson games and Chad had Sammy Watkins in the backfield to take the snap a lot of times.

Wasn’t around for those days. I guess that’s why a lot of fans don’t melt like others, we’ve never seen Arkansas that good to begin with.

The Razorbacks have not been “elite” since I’ve been following them which was ten years after Hatfield’s last game.

This isn’t what we’ve come to, it what we’ve been for 30 years with the exception of 2010, 2011.

It's the same group of players that won 4 games last year. I don't know why anyone expected anything this year.

That's just not true. We've been mediocre, not national joke bad. We had literally never finished last in the West until 2013. I never remember going into seasons knowing every conference game would be a blowout, and just hoping to beat all the frickstick teams for a chance at .500. shite, at the time we lost to ULM that was unheard of excluding UNLV and Citadel shenanigans. Now, it's a regular occurence.

I see what your saying. Mediocre still is just not that good which is most I’ve known the hogs to be. Honestly, I personally don’t feel a big difference between 5th and 7th. Just my opinion.

I’m admitting that I don’t see what all the fuss is about. Is it because you all will have to do something better with your time on Saturday if things don’t improve?

Here’s the real kick in the pants though, I don’t know many Arkansans under the age of 30 that could give two shits about Arkansas football and I’m not entirely sure it has anything to do with winning.

while that is true in some areas of our state, that has changed from a few years back. It used to be that the high majority of folks in our fine state would stop work, play, everything to watch the game. And winning big would bring much of that back.

I'm 26. I can tell you the apathy towards our program is specifically because of lack of results. The general populace is only interested in winners. Just look at the basketball attendance. Dropped dramatically when we weren't even making the tournament. All it took was even a sniff of improvement and 1 weekend trips in the tournament and the seats were full again.

Winning fixes everything.
