Actually the main reason was because they were both eligible to be grad transfers and Glennon had two years of eligibility to Wilson’s one.

Nevertheless, that makes my point. Just because a player transfers, it doesn’t mean that they suck. Sometimes they don’t fit a system. Sometimes they don’t get along with the coach. Sometimes the coach is a dumbass (Bert) and makes bad personnel decisions

It's doesn't make your point.

You're trying to say a POS qb for CSU is comparable to Russell Wilson.

That's just not true. We've been mediocre, not national joke bad. We had literally never finished last in the West until 2013. I never remember going into seasons knowing every conference game would be a blowout, and just hoping to beat all the frickstick teams for a chance at .500. shite, at the time we lost to ULM that was unheard of excluding UNLV and Citadel shenanigans. Now, it's a regular occurence.

This is the truth, and I'm 31 for reference. Throughout my history of being a fan, no matter the coach the Razorbacks always had a chance to stick it to one of the "big boys" in the conference week in and week out, often punching above our weight class. We had a *chance* to win just about every game we went into, that was just the way of the scrappy Razorbacks.

We even saw some of this in Bielema, with some exciting "WTF just happened" wins every so often. Unfortunately we also had some bummer "WTF just happened" losses sprinkled in throughout to offset.

I just remember the upset to ULM in LR and how I felt for WEEKS afterward. It was sickening, deflating, a new low. It seems like we haven't ever recovered from then.

I don't know what the answer is, whether its to give CCM years to rebuild or elsewhere... But next time we hire a coach, we need to set a new precedent for pay and go after one of the top 10 in the game. Offer him and the entire pool of candidates the highest contract in college football and see who bites.

Because in the long run, it'll be cheaper to pay $6mm more per year to a coach then what our ticket and apparel losses are about to be. Heaven forbid this trend continues, we may fill half the stadium on an SEC home game and that alone amounts to losses in the millions per game - not even including the loss of apparel sales when the consumer has zero excitement over the team.

Still feel this way? We're getting boat raced by a G5 team

You trying to high road me because your melting harder?

I feel pretty much the same. Remember my ledge isn’t as high as yours because, well... since we’ve joined the SEC we’ve only got winning records against 3 teams in sec play.

Is this the new normal? I don’t know; hope not. If it is then I’ll figure out something else to do on Saturdays.
