I will go on record as hating our next hire. Because when I've said "This guy could be the one" we've gone down in flames.

Hated the Bert hire, and was nonplussed by the Morris hire.

I liked the BB hire, until he showed he was a lazy coach.

I was not happy about the Morris hire, but hoped he would do well. Then he hired Chavis, and I knew we were screwed, but hoped both would do well.

At this point, we probably would have to try, to find a more incompetent coach than Morris. So I will reserve judgement, and hope they do well.

Never even heard of the guy, hate him already.

I do like Norvell though and I think he'd be a home run

Its almost like he's the guy that should of been hired 2 years ago, but Morris was more proven with more experience and had Texas ties while Norvell only wins games and has ties to Arkansas.

I liked the Bert hire. Thought we pulled a coup. The Chad hire confused me. I didn’t know enough to hate it.

I loved the CBB hire... but I wasn't aware of the Alverez overlord.

He beat Nutt in the Cap 1 bowl, and seemed to be a great coach at that time, Rose Bowls, etc.

I didn't understand the Morris hire but gave him my patience and time. He really was pathetic and I hate that for him and mostly our program

Clearly neither was the dumbass whose job it was to in fact know these things. Instead he gave DrunkBert millions of undeserved dollars.

All anyone had to do was pick 10 avid Wisconsin fans, and ask them for 5 minutes of their time. Any of them could (then and now) tell you who runs UW football.

Sorry, but you're not the first to say it. I made a thread on this like a month ago now. Before we even fired Chad I think. I did it for argument points in the future.

Loved the Bert hire. Thought he would be a perfect fit here.

Contrary to popular belief, I didn't like the Chad hire. For those that have convinced yourselves otherwise, I did the digging for you:

Yeah, it's petty. But I'm tired of the bullshite. shite on me for trying to have a positive outlook once we were stuck with the guy, but saying I was pro-Chad is just flat out wrong.

I was pro Chad longer than most. Until SJSU. I still think the early signing period hurt him here. If he had 2 real classes under his belt, this year could have looked competitive at least. He made a lot of mistakes too (bringing a 19 year old OC, hiring a washed up DC he found down at the retirement center) so he deserved to be fired. But he would have been more of a Bert level 5 year failure without the early signing period IMO. Probably was better this way.

He frickin got in here with just a few weeks left in the early signing period and he didn't even evaluate his team on film to identify the positions he needed to focus his recruiting on. Chad Morris was lazy. His heart wasn't in this job. I was an ardent supporter of his but looking back on it I have no idea why. There's a long list of shite I can see now that should have been huge red flags from the jump.

Oh well, maybe the next guy will be a good one.

eh, I wouldn't say he was lazy, especially in regards to recruiting. Just think he was way, way, way in over his head.

Well if it wasn't laziness it was sheer stupidity. We are like 4 years on having a terrible offensive line and I still don't think they've actually addressed this extremely critical position group.
