Ray Tanner worked out gloriously for SCar athletics. And he won way more than Dave did in baseball.
You basically need a former agent or media exec to run a College ath dept now.

Nobody cares about women's basketball until they lose. Who cares. Id rather invest in Mens Basketball. Something i actually watch and enjoy.

I beat the ‘DVH for AD’ drum for years but there has been a colossal paradigm shift away from former coach turned AD with the seismic shifts we’ve seen the last decade or so with confidence realignment, coaching contracts and agent negotiations, NIL and collectives, TV money, and social media presence.
You used to just need to have a good eye for coaching talent and raise money, and Frank was good at both. AD was basically a “coach emeritus” role. Now it’s the equivalent to a CEO with a 9 figure budget.
Either way, Hunter isn’t the man for the job.

Good lord i feel like half if the world has never been through contract negotiations where a person doesnt get a Jimbo contract.

I just hate the concept of taking an elite baseball coach who is proven to be great at his job and putting him in a different job he’s never done before which we have no idea if he’d succeed at. Could very well end up being bad in both spots instead of just one if the baseball hire doesn’t work out.

My point is that Yuracuck hasn't done a damn thing to further the success of the athletic program at the U of A.
He's allowed to the LR elite to push him around and continue playing games in tWardump.
He continues to let Titboss hang around.
He doesn't give a flying frick about the nil or collective. Hell even Ole Miss and State are ahead if us on that front.
As a whole we're trending down in the SEC other than the baseball program.
Which has always been a constant bell cow.
Yeah I know, 33 championships and shite.
Do you really trust this guy to make a solid hire when Musselman jumps ship or Titboss wins 5 games next season?
Maybe DVH isn't the one, but Hunter damn sure isn't the guy in my opinion.

I care because I have a talented daughter that’s getting close to the age of starting to be recruited. It’s a great opportunity for a lot of girls.
We’ve gone to Razorback games…but all she knows is that each time we go over to watch them play a good team, they lose.

Maybe maybe not. He's a nomad, he will leave at some point if he can't figure out winning it all here and thinks he has a better shot elsewhere..... Miss needs to do some soul searching and figure out how to win during the season not just the post season if we make it.

It's the professional sports mentality where the regular season doesn't matter and is used to figure things out for a potential post season run.

I was curious if she did and if she didnt I was going to recommend some good aau programs/coaches. Im very active on the Arkansas aau circuit.
