Yeah, he took over an alrwdy built program, but that SoB beat more P5 programs in 1 year than we have in aboit 3.

I don't want Leach and I have a bad feeling about Lane now.

He's unproven-ish, yes, but he's shown more potential than our last 4 coaches combined.

If it's between him and Butch Davis...let's roll some damn dice. He's probably going to parlay that App State job into a big time gig if he turns into the Boise St. Chris Peterson of the South.

Hell, It can't get any worse...

Lane isn't getting the FSU job. Norvell will, or someone else. He is down their list.

He isnt going to ole miss no matter what they say.

Certainly give me Drinkwitz/Pittman over the Butch Davis/Chizik/Lashlee garbage rumor.

Seems like a big risk on paper but if HY goes with him I would trust there is a good reason

Would drink come with Pittman?

I will add pittman is on everyone's wish list. I seriously feel like if we can't get lane/norvell/leach we might as well roll the dice with pittman, and just give him the money to get good assistants. He has been an assistant head coach for almost 10 years continually.

I would like Clark, but his staff hires would probably be very underwhelming. That is my biggest knock on him.

I know our O line would be top notch. He is an amazing recruiter, and has sec experience. Atleast with him I know he would fix our line deficiencies. That alone would probably be worth it. I feel like he would at the very least right the ship here. He probably wouldn't win huge, but he would get the horses+stability to get a better coach afterwards.

Say Pittman is HC our assistant coaching pool could be something like $10 million and we go after the best coordinators for $2 mil each and rest of the staff is developers who can recruit.

If Pittman was the choice, I see no way our line of scrimmage play on either side would be even average or bad as we've experienced since he left.

I could see him being like bert was here, but probably pulls out some of the wins he couldn't.

We would be above average just because of the line talent we would have. It would be hard to screw that up, and chad left him enough skill guys to compete in their last years. I do not know if we would replace them though. We would run a pro style I'm sure... which isn't going to get skill guys to come. We would lose a bunch of close games though I'm sure just because we wouldnt have the fire power others have.

Said by Hog fans during the Nutt era.
Then during the JLS year.
Then during the Bert era.
Then during the Morris era.

If the last 15 years are any indication, it most certainly can get worse.

Granted, I *think* we've hit rock bottom, but recent history would tell me that when we think we've found our floor, we seem to roll up our sleeves and dig a few feet deeper.

I'll go on a crazy limb to say we can win more than 4 games in two years but I guess I never thought we would only win 4 games the last two years so good point.

We haven't won an SEC home game since 2016 so outside of the program being shut down completely, I don't possibly know how it could get worse. Hell, that might be better.

Because the fans that come to buy tickets and keep the program afloat with their cash flow haven't witnessed a win in 3 years. All of this while trying to justify a stadium expansion project.

Don't get all saucy because your gotcha attempt was spoiled by reading comprehension.
