In the college game you win more games with QB play than just about any other position. They really had the right idea with Morris. Get someone who can coach and develop QB's. Problem is his reputation was undeserved. He was awful at it. Thats what is attractive about Lane. Its no accident that we had our best seasons with Petrino.

A dream scenario would be Lane as head coach and Pittman as assistant head coach. Not sure if Pittman would go for it. But who knows. Make him say no to a big raise.
