This was a game we needed to win. Not lose at home by 15. This team is so frustrating to watch.

I knew we were screwed during the first when they woke up and started playing physical. Gafford is no big man. Oh he can beat on weaker foe but put him against real talent and he gets shown up every time.

Hit this team in the mouth and they will cower down.

Geez, I know. Why can't they win every game?!?

It sucks but that was not the UK team we were expecting. That was a UK team that might knock on the door of the elite 8 if they continue playing this way. Would have been nice to sure up a berth though. That would have been a good game for seeding out of a 1 or 2 seed second round match. I don't see us getting above 7 now unless we take home the SEC trophy.

I was there, it was a blast.. .the arena is amazing, the atmosphere is astounding, the energy from the fans... and the team until the 6 min mark in the 2nd half was awesome.

Look, I usually don't blame the zebras, but tonight they were definitely a factor. The calls against the Hogs were lopsided as hades. and it sucked. Several times I wanted to jack up an official, the "You Suck" chant was very loud in our section.

The turning point in our game, where our team knew it was over... When Macon went to the floor to tie up the ball, the KY player had slipped, Macon was called for tripping or fouling. It was so obvious... At that moment it was as if the team knew they couldn't beat KY and the refs. I agreed.

With the right coach, we definitely have the fan base, facilities, support.... MA was the right coach tonight.. win or lose. JMHO of course.

I think we got screwed on calls you should clearly expect to get in a home game like that. I think it was just Kentucky's night though. It just seemed like everytime we had a chance to pull away or gain some big momentum we would have a turnover or terrible shot. Refs didn't do us any favors for sure though.

Cj Jones pissed me off the most.

This was almost an exact replica of the North Carolina game earlier this season.

We get off to a hot start, close game at the half, and then their size just took us to the woodshed.

Similar to the time we played at A&M as well.

If we go up a talented team with length I expect us to lose.

If we go up against opponents of similar size, we win the majority of those games.

Yeah we shot too poorly in the second half. First half we were 8-19 on threes, second half we were 1-7.

Those first 5 minutes where legit old school Bud Walton. So loud my 2 year old started crying and when Cal called the TO and the Hog Call started it was pretty great.

Then there were the last 5 minutes of the game with fans leaving (rightfully) and pretty much stone silence.

Folks, we don't have much heart. Players are allowed to revert to 1-1 play anytime there's any pressure and all the coaching staff knows to do is rant and state the obvious, without any plans, system or approach.

Putting a Mike on Mike is actually very embarrassing if you know anything about what should take place in a basketball huddle during a time out.

What frustrates me is Mikes substitution pattern (or lack thereof). I get it that the system relies on fresh legs and rotating player.

Nolan was a master at doing that while always having at least one or two scorers on the court at all times. There are times when I look at the 5 Anderson has on the court and say What the frick.

Jones has to hit a couple of his shots very to get confidence, else he's done for the night.

You saps that invest into a mike Anderson coached team should understand that it will always be like this. The only thing consistent about an Anderson coached team is inconsistency.

It was disappointing but I wasn’t that frustrated as I have been- more of we got out classed by a better team feeling to me. I guess I’d rather watch us lose like that than feel we just played like utter crap.

Isn’t that a pretty big deal when this is one of Cal’s worst teams and supposedly “Mike’s best team?”

This UK team is poised to make a run. Just watch.

Sucks to lose but they hit us in the mouth and we didn't answer.

And people bashing Gafford, you serious? He was the only one willing to grind. He can't out muscle three other players while the rest of our team stands around and watches.

I won't be sad losing Beard and Barford. Tired of their selfishness and sloppy, lazy defense.

Perhaps, if my expectations weren’t tempered the last month and a half or two I’d be more bothered, I’m just glad we are playing some better again closing out the season.

Kentucky is playing much better and should be a force the rest of the way.
