I think we'll be better than Ole Miss though.

Vandy got more votes than we did in the East so we're really picked last in the SEC. I don't think we'll be THAT bad.

I believe we're good enough to be 13th in the league, if not 12th. Definitely not dead last again though.

I'm having trouble finding optimism this year. 2-10 may have just broke me.

This seems like the type of year where you could go 6-6 and still finish last in either division. The Hogs finishing with 6 wins and a bowl would be a good season this year.

We said that last year too. "Just win the four non-cons plus Ole Miss and Vandy." Well we saw how that worked out. Now it's "Just win the four non-cons plus Ole Miss and Kentucky." Guess we'll see what happens. Sad that most of our fans expect our ceiling to be six wins.

And there were a handful of us on here saying things like, "Guys...our O-Line/QBs REALLY suck this year."

The writing for last year was on the wall, but not a lot of us wanted to read it. We were lacking talent in critical positions last year, mainly O-Line and QB. North Texas and Colorado State legitimately had better players at QB than us last season, it's a sad but sobering truth. Many of the issues that plagued us from a purely personnel standpoint have been fixed in the offseason. There's still a way to go, but football has never been a one offseason turnaround kind of sport when the hole to climb out of is this large.

As fans, we need to look for better execution across the board this year. We're not challenging for anything significant barring a miracle this season, so I want to see the offense come to life a bit more both in playcalling and execution, particularly in stretching the field. That will require the O-Line generating more time in the pocket, which in itself would be a welcome improvement. Win or loss doesn't matter as much to me this year as the eye-test does. This is the year I want to see the new culture truly take root and snuff out all of this "A lockerroom divided" BS.

That's not sad. That's reality. And it's just a little Chad's fault.

There was a drastic regime change from a coach with a completely different philosophy and lack of discipline from his own personal eating habits, recruiting, and second half game management. It takes at least a full year to either get everyone to buy in, resentful players out, new players in, and learn the system. Georgia lost to Vanderbilt in Kiby’s first year, and damn near lost to I-AA Nichols State with far superior roster talent than what Chad was left in Fayetteville. I honestly can’t believe the recruitment has gone as well as it has.

agreed. Blame fat frick. For those of you who say Bert would’ve done better last year your probably right these were players recruited for his system. Instead of 2 wins we would’ve won 3 or 4 again and be a year later in the rebuild. Whether or not chad works out or not remains to be seen but he’s trying harder than Bert and is putting in more effort regardless and if he doesn’t work out the cupboard will be a lot better for whoever the next guy is

Actually,

Blame the fricking idiots that hired fat frick.

That piece of shite shouldn't have been allowed within 100 miles of the campus.
Felt that way from the beginning, and the slobber fest was nauseating.

UW fans laughed.

This. The personnel sucked last year in every category, but we couldn’t even get lined up right at times last year. It takes zero talent to fix things like that.

Sad that this is the state of Razorback football.

Always the next coach or the next season

I think we will lose a nonconference game

If we do, we should be last in the SEC by default with this schedule

If we lose a non conference game, I will drive to Fayetteville and karate chop Chad in the balls. That’s unacceptable this year.

Possibility for sure. Co. State game last year was all on Chadillac and the staff.

I think we handle the NC schedule and maybe beat Ole Piss.

You guys can go ahead and judge me, but I don't really even give a shite anymore. From John L Smith to today, Razorback football has been a gigantic turd. Going to take a while to get me back on the bandwagon and I even think Aggy Chad is recruiting well.

At this point, I'm more excited about the upcoming Basketball season and I can't even remember our new coach's name.

Exactly. People bitch about having a terrible schedule but it could (unfortunately) produce some competitive games this season. After all, how many times can you get excited for us to play #1 Alabama only to lose by 50 and not score?
