We always lead in offensive categories and have little to show for it. Every school we play has record setting numbers against us in shoot outs. We lead in most 1 score losses since 2012 I believe. I don’t know who the starting QB or RB is but I bet we are top 5 in both passing and running yards. And will go like 6-6 at best.

We lose a lot of exciting games each year. Well, other than times someone just walks the dog on us.

I was at the 2010 Al-Ar game in Fayetteville, was a thing of beauty right up until the interception with a couple minutes to play.

It wears on you. To borrow a line from Bruce Springsteen.. "you wind up like a dog that's been beat too much."

Arkansas football is just a joke anymore.
And I seriously doubt Chad Silverfield will change my opinion.

I don't have anything against him but if I was him then I would have stayed in Memphis for another year and waited for some better jobs.

That start to the 2010 Bama game still gets me hard.

How many years where that happened was Petrino in charge of the offense?

Petrino still would’ve been a much better option than Jason Silverfield

Just shows what we’ve all known for awhile. We’ve had good athletes over the past decade plus, especially on offense. But the defense has been between slightly above average to historically awful throughout that stretch. The only defense I can remember being elite since the 2006 sec championship team was the 2014 team. Even 2010/11 was just average.

2010 was average but 2011 was above average.

2014 was above average and 2015 was average.

Ryan Silverfied won an SEC game last year.

Bobby won zero and lost to that so called bum named Silverfied.

Yeah. Let’s use 1 game (that they would’ve/should’ve lost if not for a random fumble) as the measuring stick against a tenured and historically successful SEC coach to go pound for pound against Silverslick

I've been as frustrated as anybody, but we need to all be real about where we really are.

We've only won one power 4 game at home the last 3 seasons. We've been the worst program in the SEC for a few seasons. We've gone winless in conference play 4 times since Bobby was fired. We don't have the money to compete like we thought we did.

To be honest, we're probably lucky that Silverfield was even willing to come here. He's recruiting better than he should be able to and he's doing all the right things from rebuilding relationships with former players, establishing inroads with the AR high school coaches, to trying to flip the losing culture that's infected the program.

Being realistic, what more did some of you expect him to do? Right now, he's 0-0.

All eight SEC teams had good measuring sticks against washed up Bobby.

Win all the games he should plus one or two he shouldn't. It's not an unrealistic expectation: we've seen it. It's the only way forward.

Money does not account for a couple three of more losses we've had since the crash. Less suck has been there for the taking.

Chad Silverfield had 33.5 million reasons to come here. Don't be completely obtuse man.

Just like Titboss, we'll send him off with a nice severance package for coaching the worst program in the SEC.

Had we hired Matt Campbell, James Franklin, Alex Golesh, etc., we would still be in the same boat. Arkansas fans expect to win big regardless of the cost and they expect someone else to pay for it.

I'd say Silverfield has been pretty impressive to recruit the way he has without the same type of NIL money other programs are committing. He's putting in the work and should be given a fair chance.

I already expect the majority of this board to give him the Dale Denton DVH treatment. Quiet when he wins and fire and pitchforks after a loss.

Not just the SEC but one of the worst in the power four.

He is going to have to find ways to win with inferior talent and a Dollar Tree NIL budget.
