I'm all for giving the guy a chance and by all means even the dumbass administration really has no choice.

I'll support him with my fandom but I'll be damned if they get another dime out of me.

No we don’t, we are one of the top fan base supporting schools by the merch we buy and tickets and showing up for shitty teams.

We expect 7 wins for bad years 8-9 wins on good years. And great years (every 4-5 years) 10-12 wins.

We expect not to be 17-43 since 2012 in one score games. We expect not to blow games we should win. We expect not to get up 21 and lose the damn game every fricking time. We don’t mind losing to schools who just out talent us and should beat us, Georgia/Bama.. we want to be competitive in those game though. That’s literally all we expect. And not one AD or coach has given us that since we fired Bobby.

one score losses Breakdown by coach from that span:
John L. Smith: 1–3
Bret Bielema: 8–14
Chad Morris: 1–7
Sam Pittman: 7–19

63 years of fandom, two natty's and watching another one fall in the Omaha dirt.

I'd say that's winning and probably more than most on this board will ever witness.

But this football program is arse and we can't even find a Houston Dale Nutt, sad af.

I’m not out on Silverfield. I am out on our AD, and we could have prime Saban and wouldn’t win.

Silverfield seems like a genuine and nice guy, but in the same mold of Heath, Pelphrey, and Pittman. Him being a good guy doesn't mean he should have ever been offered the job and doesn't mean everyone should throw every spare dollar in their name to the program.

I don't blame him for taking a job that should have never been offered to him.

The back to back hires in the basketball program but Broyles cost him his job, there is no reason the impending failure of this hire should not cost Hunter his.

I’m hearing he wasn’t the first choice. Job was offered to Golesh and after meeting with Hunter, he said no thanks. Heard the same about a few others too. Heard back door channels were used for other people the previous year, and they were all like nah, and it all comes down to Hunter and pretending like we are broke broke.
