I personally like Jans. I hope the fanbase would give him a chance. Don’t know if he’s a national title contender type coach but I think he could have us consistently a top ~20 team. Defensively I put him up there with Beard and Sampson
I might go back on this. His recruiting is pretty awful.
I'd rather take a chance on Bucky

We gotta remember Muss didn’t even leave us with a cupboard.
Going to need Nick Nolte this year.

Who knows. High risk/reward. Would generate some excitement. I think he's my #1 of the realistic options right now (outside of Wade)

I have zero thoughts. We know who we're interviewing.
If we don't choose those then what? They knew Muss was probably gone for months. How this is even acceptable is beyond me.
Complete and utter incompetence.

Are you jerks really going to hire Jans and make us go through a coaching search too.
Thought for sure you guys were just going to grab Wade and call it a day.

Nah, we're going to get Jans a nice raise and we're gonna hire a 63 yr. old former player

Would be fine with it. He's hit his ceiling at Creighton I believe. Team plays scrappy. I don't know that he's looking to get out of Creighton though as he's a Iowa/Mid West kind of guy.

I'll take Buck IF we bring back Slobbering Hog. Need Slobbering Hog for his aggressive, up tempo style of play. Recruits like it too as more points to go around.

Not a good look .

I think year one Muss got him kicked out of the pressers, didn’t like his questions.
Kevin said it ended well and alluded to Muss understanding he has/had a job to do.

Twitter media folks posting fail memes re Jans so guess he’s picked up steam. Rumors are the Board are worried over Wade’s show cause shite.

It isn't a good look leaving after one bad season.

Things are still fluid at this time, but I'm hearing there is a very strong push to make sure Coach Jans does not leave Starkville this offseason.
Thank God the cowbells are trying to keep Jans. Surely HY cannot hire Walker. Force Wade on the board as the only option.

Hearing some APR issues are concerning to coaches, but no clue if true. Everyone is hearing everything at this time
