So we have room to land Smith and Walsh, right?
Umude, lykes, wade and toney are all grad students. And Notae is a senior.

If Devo, jaylin or kamani leave early or Vanover transfers, I guess we'd fill in with transfers

Bama likely has used Josh Primo in recruiting pitch. A lot of draft experts thought he went way too early when the Spurs picked him 12th and Bama has had a few other guards drafted in the first round in the final years of Avery with Sexton and Lewis.

Oates has landed a lot of Canadian's in his early success at Bama but he's also recruiting similar to Muss.

You've got to believe when someone is on campus at Arkansas vs Bama the facilities, the energy, the pitch etc sets itself apart.

I'm not sure about Bama basketball marketing hype but our team does a phenomenal job.

A simple conversation about playing in a packed BWA/NBA equivalent arena that is one of the loudest in the country vs Coleman Colliseum has to make every single recruit think pretty hard, at least I'd imagine.

And I get the Primo thing I guess, but what about Moody? Moody was the central figure on our team that went to the elite 8. Primo averaged 8 pts and 22 minutes.....

Only thing I could think of would be the logistics of shooting a video or doing a graphic for the commitment

This is how I understood it as well, not something that was a serious treat. Just something that could slow it down a bit.

What Nate Oates has done is remarkable. BB wall always be in the shadows of FB.

Not the case here. Basketball can be the premiere attraction here and one the best anywhere.

Alabama is still significantly behind us in terms of facilities and general program investment.

Rivals saying chances are good next week for Smith and Walsh.
If so, that's 5 of the ESPN Top 100

Feels good to be relevant in basketball again.

Multiple posters on 247 are now saying that Wednesday is going to be a very good day for Arkansas in regards to Basketball recruiting.

If this actually happens, should we just proactively hang a banner on Wednesday as well?

So what is going on up in here? Are we signing a Kentucky level class here it sounds like?

IF it happens, and I am always skeptical, but if the commitments are made, then yes, Arkansas would jump into the #1 recruiting class currently and probably finish in the top 4 or 5, with the likes of Kentucky, Duke, Carolina, etc.

You would have a class with two 5* and three very highly rated 4*, with all five players ranked in the top 100.

Smith and Walsh were the #6 and #7 ranked overall players on ESPN

I haven’t ran the numbers but I don’t see how we sign both of them along with the rest of the class and not end up being #1 or #2 behind UK

Walsh isn’t ranked as highly on 247. I think he’s like 30.

Let’s add Anthony Black too, just for good measure.
