Man, this really feels like the year fellas. Good teams beat teams we're supposed to beat like this.

Ole Miss is dog shite. If we win the series in Lexington then I'll jump on that wagon. I just hate peaking early.

Don't feel like we're peaking. Our offense has improved but nowhere near the world beaters LSU was last year. Plenty of room to grow as the season goes by.

Hey Hawgeye,

Has farmer on tRant always been a dumb arse? I thought he used to be a good poster.

He’s slowly started to show insane jealousy of anything Arkansas baseball related.

Which one of them rated Kentucky behind A&M. That was the dumbest take I've seen all season. Well....maybe not dumber than LSUStephen or Serraneaux, but close.

He definitely has earned the DH spot when White is catching.

SEC stats aren’t as pretty for some of the hitters, specifically McLaughlin who’s quietly batting .184 in conference play.

Stovall (.364), Aloy (.326) and Souza (.323) are raking in SEC play, but guys like McLaughlin (.184), Diggs (.245), Sandlot (.205,) and Wimsmeyer (.225) have work to do.

I really hope they go after some guys with major pop in the portal for next season. What are typically your power hitting positions are our weakest hitting positions on this squad. Its pretty pathetic.

To be fair, his OBP is .400 and he isn't striking out a lot. Diggs is the one that really needs to step up. .327 OBP with 13 Ks

You'll have Souza and Aloy back. I would expect Helfrick to make a big jump and Ty Waid will probably move into a corner spot. All 4 of those guys have 15+ HR potential.

He's always been prone to getting salty and passive aggressive. Now he's just outright trolling.

0-4 with 3 strikeouts tonight.

At some point we're going to have to stop giving Polk midweek AB's and give those to an underclassman or someone who needs to hit out of a slump.

In my heart of hearts I’ve been thinking that this team was missing a really dangerous duo of hitters with power at the top of the order. Teams get hot at the plate in the postseason and you need some horsepower to advance. Maybe I’m being overly optimistic but Aloy and Souza are making me think that piece might be developing. We could be nasty good if things keep going in our direction.
