Also, haven't seen it talked about around here but did I hear Dyke right in that nick smith could be back in the next 2 weeks?

Said something like Nick is at 90% right now and it could be a good next 10 days for the Razorbacks.

Bama's the only team that's been able to navigate the road this year. SEC road games are brutal.

I’ve noticed several times when the ball went low to one of our bigs they would kick it back out. It looked to me on some occasions they could just dunk the crap out of the ball. Or draw a foul trying.

If I could have dunked in my day that would have been my go to shot. And missing easy put backs or layups pisses me off. If our bigs could improve their basket making ability we will be tough to beat.

But we’re improving at the free throw line which gives us a chance to win as much as anything.

This has to happen, as bad as I hate it, but the 3 is a big game changer.

But I’m glad we don’t live or die by the 3. Defense and rebounding and points in the paint have carried us, 3 pointers are gravy,..delicious gravy….

I wanted to say ty for everybody that contributes to the gamethreads.

There are other gamethreads posted that are lucky to go 3 pages.

Thanks

Absolutely. Devo has been damn near automatic off of the catch-and-shoot 3 over the last few games.

Meh, we need some halftime entertainment imo.

May I suggest you do the milk challenge for the USCe game?

I was thinking about our free throw shooting to close out games. Our best guy who sees the floor is Council who’s at 79%. That’s pretty good, but ideally you’d have a more pure shooter who can land it closer to 90% in those situations. Lykes was our guy last year, shooting 88%.

Smith would probably be that guy if he comes back, but if he doesn’t should we feel “ok” about having Council and I guess Davis (76%) as our second option being our guys? Pinion and Ford have both taken a few free throws this year and haven’t missed yet. I’m just wondering if Muss would put one of them in in that scenario.

Don't see it.

Devo and Council is who he has shown to trust. Even Black has gotten a lot better so he's probably the third option.

As long as he shoots off the pass, with his feet set and shoulders squared up, it's a thing a beauty. He's not as good when he shoots off the dribble unless it's a mid range(ft line) jumper.

We have a problem with passing on high percentage shots everywhere, but those down low are especially annoying.
