Meh. They couldn’t handle SDSU.

Barely handled us at home towards the end of the year.

Destroying Gonzaga's arse now. Don't feel so bad about our beatdown.

Going to be 2 out of 3 years we've lost to the champs

UCONN is crazy aggressive, but not out of control

Is Clingen the fastest 7 footer since Wilt?

Been drinking but he looks pretty damn quick beating Gonzaga back down the court.

I don’t care how many games they lost in January. This UConn team looks as good as I’ve seen since 06 Florida

Timme fouling out during an arse beating in the same year Bama gets bounced would make this year phenomenal as far as I’m concerned.

Exactly. They’re out there. Gotta go get them and not recruit all airport AAU pube boys.

Unless zags can score 22 points in the next 9 minutes our putrid offense will be the team who scored the most through the Elite 8

Our offense was like watching recreational center basketball.

The ref has to stop the game and ask the team if they are gonna score or not.

The intensity, urgency, movement and ball movement on every. Single. possession is awesome.

Yep. That and shooting were the big differences in our game against UConn. I know some will say they were just hot, but Xavier, UConn and Marquette are all in the top 7 for apg and two of those are still playing. The modern game is too much like rec ball, but these teams are exceptions.

Edit: 4 of the 6 teams remaining rank within the top 22 for apg. The outliers are SDSU and FAU, which come in at #76 and #153. SDSU is also the one team we beat out of the 4 we have played.

Good. frick Gonzaga.

I’ve hated them ever since Few made a pissy comment in his postgame presser after we rinsed them last year in the Sweet Sixteen about they “aren’t used to losing games in this round against teams like that.” Which was bullshite considering Gonzaga has only been to 2 Final Fours in their entire history as a program.

2 out of 3 years we’ve run into the absolute buzzsaw of the NCAAT, Baylor in 21 and now UCONN. Would be shocked if they didn’t win it all.

I still think Duke would’ve beaten anybody else in the FF except UNC last year. Rivalry games anything can happen. One day we’ll get a break in the second weekend I hope

I agree on the last two years but we were the break this year. We were somewhere in the 14-16 range in this S16.
