Felt like we played semi good defense. Got killed on the boards though. They shot 55%.

Can't get out rebounded like that and out shite like that.

We really needed notary to get hot tonight and they were able to effectively limit his game.

It’s never natty or bust. NCAA is too much of a crapshoot

Hell of a season. Overachieved bigly with what we had. Gratz to the players and I can't wait for next season!

Duke shot their asses off. We’re not beating any team that shoots that well, especially given the fact that we’re not a good shooting team in general.

They shot their asses off against Texas Tech, so I was hoping their luck wouldn’t carry over. Too bad that turned out to be wishful thinking.

Heck of a year for this team. I’m happy with what we were able to do.

Now for next year it’s time to purge the roster of guys who aren’t contributing, Vanover, Robinson, and anybody else who doesn’t want to get better.

We need to go find some legit big men in the portal to help Jwil inside.

Take the incoming class and go kick some tail.

frick the refs in this game but we got dominated by better talent.

If Jaylin comes back (big if) and he plays as aggressive as he did going to the basket in the second half, he will be a lottery pick.

You know something? I thought it was pretty much a given that he was.

Opening my heart a bit here. Have lost several family members the past couple of years. My mind hasn't found a lot of joy, or happiness recently.

With you Rev. I lost a sister, her hubby, and their daughter to Covid Sept/Oct last year. The brother-in-law held on for about a month before succumbing. Lots of complications surrounding this as well. A close friend with leukemia (not requiring treatment at this time), and another close friend diagnosed with later stage (disagreement on the stage) cancer in November that has two young children in chemo. And there's much more, but I think you get the ideal. Wishing you well and peace from whatever source it may be from.

Disagree

This team proved that overachievers can get it done with the right coach.

Damn proud of this team.

Call me crazy, but was Jaylin Williams the best player on the floor Saturday?

18pts, 10 reb, 3 ast, 2 charges, 47% FG, and, while on the floor, I think Arkansas was +3. Played 34mins b/c of foul trouble in the 1st half.

4 of of Duke's 5 starters all played 35-38 mins.

He also dunked right over Banchero and took a fricking clean forearm to the face in the process.

If Jaylin stays, and they get a big rim protector in the portal, combined with the incoming class, that squad could be terrifying next year.

We just went to the elite 8 with a team that can't score. Think about that for a second.

I can't wait until we get some perimeter skill

Wanted to wait till the next day but really proud of this team, similar to last year. It really does feel like Muss got the most he could from this group by the end of the year. Last night is a great example of why you need classes like the one we have coming in.

What a year in terms of the roller coaster we went on, from solid NCAA tournament team, to not looking like even a NIT team, to that amazing win streak at home. The coaches and the players never gave up on trying to do what was needed to win.

No time to rest, its portal season

Everyone should be damn proud.

Another tough draw in the elite 8.

I think we’d have beaten anyone other than Kansas, Duke and UNC but that’s the way she goes.

Hell of a season.

Yeah for as much as the narrative got pushed that we had the easy paths in the NCAA tournament after the NMST game, we had two very tough back to back games.
