We are so damn scrappy. I love the fight of this team. BUT, why in the hell don't we attack and drive in the paint more? We settle for jump shot after jump shot, and we aren't a good shooting team.

Our game is attacking the rim, drawing fouls and making free throws. We would have won the game handily tonight had we stuck to that plan.

Well, technically our game is an elite defense and so-so offensive play. It works though.

Looks like if Bama and LSU lose any of their remaining games we lock up a double bye. Now that being said let’s win the rest and hope Barn drops 2…

Hogs shot 46% tonight. Not much more you can expect on the road.

Went to the hole the entire second half. If not for the fouls (refs), we would have beat them by 10-15.

Big win, had to listen to the second half on the radio and it sounded like the refs were boning us. Need to rewatch and see what the fuss was about.

Castleton was trending on Twitter and every comment was calling him a bitch.

This team has a clutch factor. Huge threes by Jwill, Notae and Umude. Devo was incredible tonight.

Him finding a 3 point stroke the last month or so has made this team much better on its own.

Was super interesting with him running the point.

Team is dangerous that way with Notae on the wing if Devo plays as smart and controlled as he did tonight. . Really liked seeing it and spreads the floor well.

Seemed like Muss wasn’t even mad about the backboard slap. Just because it was chippy? I missed a lot of the game in a flight.

His stroke looks really good. Might have just been a matter of him getting some confidence

Our biggest problem is we absolutely fall apart without Jaylin Williams if the other team has a good big. Within the 3 minutes or so Williams sat out last night we went from up 5 to down 2 or 4 and collected like 6 fouls

Had the exact same thought last night when Jaylin had to sit in the 2nd half.

Johnson came in and promptly committed two fouls, gave up an easy bucket or two, and got yanked after a pretty poor 3 minutes.

It wasn't that chippy other than Castleton being bitch, but that dunk was basically the dagger for the game and everyone knew it.

It's still dumb as shite on Devo's part, though. In a closer game, it could have cost the them dearly.

Looked like he could get a basket any time he wanted it. The 3 point shooting is a nice bonus but I’m really interested in seeing if he can keep providing off the dribble. I hope we see a little bit of Notae’s usage shift to Devo.

I think he thought the game was over at that point. Not his call to make but I doubt he does that in a one possession game. Still dumb though.

I think Muss wanted to sit Jaylin longer so he could play more aggressively when he came back in. Muss saw what was happening too and got him back in quick

We’ve done okay in other games.

Who isn’t going to struggle against Castleton without their best big? He’s a top 3 big man in the nation.

Kamani is a comedy player anyway.

Not really. Since we started looking like a tournament team in mid January, Jaylin has averaged 36 minutes per game. He hasn't really been out and it's very noticeable when he is.

This is excluding the Georgia game where Jaylin only played 19 min because he sat out the last 15 minutes of the first half

At half it was 53-47. Second half with Jaylin we outscored them 46-26

Yeah, there are not many castletons in the country. The depth at 5 is a real issue but not many teams have the 5 to exploit it.

Forgot to mention the South Carolina game where Jaylin sat out the last 12 minutes of the first half, then played almost all of the 2nd half.

First half:

SC- 40
Ark- 33

Second half

SC- 19
Ark- 42

Absolutely crucial that he stays out of foul trouble in the post season.

It's not just about a worry about getting posted up. Williams prevents guards from driving aggressively and can cause offenses to stagnate. He's a rebound magnet and a pretty good facilitator on offense. Without him in there we don't have anyone that comes close to matching his skillset. We need him back next year too.
