The games remaining in the schedule are very winnable, which puts the team being very hot going into the sect.

If they can take care of business next week and advance in the sect, they could move up to the 3 line, win the sect maybe enough to get a two depending on how the big 12 and big 10 finish up.

frick that, win a game, drop one and get some rest and go to the dance a 3 seed. No shame in that what so ever. I feel like teams who win their conference tourney don't do as well in the dance

Thing is we could very well end up with a 4 seed if we only win one in the SECT. At the price of playing one more game we could potentially steal a 2 seed

I'll take test over 1 more intense game and a potentially only slightly better seeding

I’m with you here. Just roll with zero expectations and see what happens.

Best to win one for a statement but no need to bust arse to win the whole thing but if it happens, great.

Remember, not that very long ago we were debating whether we would be in or whether we might be facing a play in game.

I have zero expectations for the SEC Tourney because as of right now we are playing with house money. If we do great in it... wonderful! If we don't... well we should still be in the 4 seed spot and that is a hell of a lot better than seeing Gonzaga roll around in the second game of the NCAAT.

Yeah, not to be negative but 6th in the SEC is kinda disappointing, we basically lost to every good team (A&M twice, UGA, Tenn, Kentucky, USCe.
I think we can beat Tenn and at least get to the semis in SECT, don't think we can beat SC. Win 2 and rest up, latest bracketology has the ladies as a 4 seed.

Teams seeded 1-5 were all road games except the A&M 1-point loss at home.

Scheduling had as much to do with our seed as anything, not often you play every seed above on the road. Finished tied for fourth with 9 league wins.

The Kentucky and Tennessee road games were early, 2 of the first 3 SEC games. S Car wasn't close because we struggle to match their size. Lost at Georgia by 2, at TAMU by 2 and to TAMU by 1. Both A&M losses came on last second shots under 5 secs and they won the SEC and are a top 3 seed currently.

They also beat UConn and Baylor within that schedule.

Yeah I think that's what makes it so disappointing, beating UCONN and Baylor but couldn't beat any of the top 5 in the SEC. A&M at home and UGA game were absolute heartbreakers.

A nice deep run in the NCAAT is the goal regardless. Be pretty sick to get a rematch with UCONN in the Sweet 16 or Elite 8. Be a tall task to beat them twice but it would be fun.

Is this Neighbors 3rd year here?

I think he is a phenom coach! Love his personality, etc.

If that winds up our bracket, I like the confidence. Having beaten Ucon, Baylor already this season!

Muss should be coach of the year. Or co-coach with OATS

I think Muss should win it over Oats. Bama is a senior heavy team with guys that could have gone pro coming back. Muss did it with freshmen and transfers.

Just checked HogStats and saw that.

If we win both games this week, and get some help from some losses above us, we may get to the top 10 for the first time since the 94-95 season.

The thought process of remembering the 94-95 season:
