For me, probably a hand full of baseball games at the Joe in the mid 90s (Jim Wells' hey day) when it was always packed, great atmosphere and a great product on the field. The fans were knowledgeable and it was a wonderful way to be a Bama fan with football over.

Best Basketball game ever was in 2002 in Coleman against Florida to secure the SEC Title. Tension from the word go, lots of standing (even the olds) and Mark's Madness at it's peak. Great stuff, rushed the court, lives forever on youtube.

I'd tie that with this year's Gymnastics championship in Birmingham, we didn't win but that was the loudest and best crowd I've witnessed at a women's athletic event.

Not sure the year, I think it was like 2002 or 03. We wplayed Ms State in basketball. We were down like 20 at half time, my mom was ready to leave. Dad said no, and we came back and spanked that arse. It was also my first basketball game to attend.

The only year we had Gerald Wallace. Ohio St. came to Tuscaloosa ranked in the top ten (maybe top 5?) and we just smoked them. I was only a kid in middle school but my brother was at bama at the time. They let me in the student section and we were front row, such a great time. Ohio St had a center that was one of the best players in the country. They had a Serbian guard that the student section heckled all game. Every time he touched the ball the USA chant started

Kentucky 2013. Fresh off of a National Championship and we kicked that arse. Also LSU this year. A great game all around, and the fact that we ruined their dreams of going to the big dance made it even better.

On Feb 7, 1970 I saw Pistol Pete score 69 points against the Tide. It was a one man show and amazing.
We actually won the game.

So many... Ronald Steele's buzzer beater against UGA in 2006 was probably my favorite. Second favorite was the either 10' or 11' UK win at Coleman.

Damn, I wish we were better at baseball though. Kennessaw State?

Basketball in 2005. That team was amazing to watch. Beat a good Mississippi State team by 50 in Coleman.

Kind of a different take, but I'm a Samford alum. I think it was 1999 when we went to AL, got sloppy drunk, and cheered against the Tide. Trust me, when you are plastered and know what buttons to push.... Holy $hit.

Probably the 2006 Bama/UF game in Coleman. Bama never trailed and it was Florida's last loss of that season before going on to win their first NC. Actually my first Bama athletic event to attend too.

2 basketball games come to mind, and one baseball game.

Last game of the regular season in 86 or 87 against Florida. Winner of the game wins the SEC. Forget his real name but his nickname was Snake. He hits a 3 towards the end of regulation to send it to OT. Down 1 late in OT, Snake sends another jumper that comes off the front rim, and is tipped in by Derrick McKey as the buzzer sounds. Coleman erupts. Loudest I've ever heard it.

Couple of years later, LSU comes to town with a freshman by the name of Shaquille O'Neal and a hotshot PG named Chris Jackson. Robert Horry shuts down O'Neal and Bama wins comfortably.

I think it was the 97 baseball season and we hosted a super regional against USC. Deciding game, late Sunday afternoon and it's a tense battle. Bottom of the 10th(may have been 11th), catcher Matt Frick(I think that was his name) hits a walk off homer to send them to Omaha. We lost the championship game to LSU, though I still contend we would have beaten them had Roberto Vaz not stepped on a baseball during warmups and broken his foot. Vaz was crushing it at the time and was our MVP.

Only other game I ever saw outside of football was when I was stationed in Hawaii and the bball team played in a tournament there in 90, 91 or 92. I think they beat Villanova with a shot at the buzzer by spreewell or Horry

1992 Alabama/Arkansas

Played three times. Bama won two of them. I saw the ones in Tuscaloosa and Birmingham. Both were incredible games, and there were 8 future NBA picks on the floor.

Alabama won 85-67 but, I don't think Ohio State was that great then. Pretty sure they were unranked. If Ohio State were top 10 there is no way Bama could have been kept out of the dance with a win like that.

Mine would have to be the last regular season basketball game back in 90/91. Wimp was still the coach, and that team had Sprewell and Horry... we beat Tennessee 96-88.

2012 SEC Softball Championship in Tuscaloosa. Rhodes Stadium overflowing and then beating the Gators solidly was one of my fondest memories till today.

93-90 double OT win over Tennessee and Grunfeld and King in 1976. One buzzer beater after another until the game was over. Douglas, King, Grunfeld, two other Bama players and one other Vol all fouled out before the end of the 2nd OT.
