Anyone think he ends up at Bama this season in some way?

Unlikely... maybe Georgia or Tennessee

You don’t think he enters the Saban coaching rehab clinic for analysts?

I can't see any reason he would be good for the Alabama program.

Have you seen the SC defense this year?

I think he might be considered for coach in waiting at UNC.

Good point. We all know Saban's shitty track record with coaches that have failed elsewhere. I'm still pissed that he ever hired guys like Kiffin, Sarkisian, Sunseri, Jones, Strong, etc. He never got any use from any of them.

That’s not really how that works. Otherwise everyone clamoring for Strong to be DC earlier in the season needs to have a seat and stfu because his defenses at USF and Texas were pedestrian at best

We already have a DC that can't defend the HUNH spread. LSU and Ole Miss tore his defense a new one. Someone with some imagination, creativity, and innovation for these space-age offenses would be nice.

The only thing I see from Muschamp is Nick Saban's defense from 10 years ago. Muschamp doesn't bring anything to the table.
Strong has shown the ability to get pressure on a QB without blitzing, which is something we are starting to do very well, so you can see what he brought.
What did South Carolina do on offense or defense that we struggle to do? I can't think of anything besides possible intensity.

I think that is actually where he ends up!
How many times have we seen Saban do this and help out guys like Muschamp?
He will be a Butch Jones on defense.

Lots of talk about Muschamp joining Pruitt. I know Jeremy fired his DL coach so there's room for an onfield position if he wants to take it that far.

He'll have more free time riding the country backroads, bench seat pickup, all snuggled up with Marty & McGee.

It seems that a lot of people don't understand what an analyst does. He doesn't coach players. From the recent ESPN article about Sarkisian's hiring as an analyst...
"The deal was finished for Sarkisian to join Alabama before the season opener against USC that year, but Saban held off making it official until a few days after the game. Right away, Sarkisian got to work as Kiffin's right-hand man in charge of game-planning for first-down and red zone situations.
Could Muschamp be helpful in watching film, picking up tendencies, and game-planning for 3rd and long situations, helping come up with different blitz package, etc? Sure, why not?

We already have two experienced former-DC analysts, Strong & Stoops. Pruitt might offer Boom ILB/Co-DC. Will's son is a DL GA at UT.
