Do you know it’s one of these or is this speculation on your part? Do we know anything other than it’s thought to not be serious.

There was no need for that. He was just trying to hurt him. All he had to do was interfere.

This is the worst part. Cut blocks are BS normally, but Anderson was on the backside of the play. They ran off tackle going the other way. Literally just standing in front of Will and making him go through/around you would have been more than enough to keep him from making a play. There was absolutely no need for the player to do this.

I’m incredibly childish and sour about this one I mean not logical at all. I don’t want to see the backs name or number because I really don’t want that negative juju on me the rest of the season lol

I have no sources on Anderson. No sources on our medical team. I’ve gotten info on Moore, because I’m in this area. I’m basing my guess on the fact of looking at the knee bend. It’s not difficult unless you are just want to be an a-hole and argue. It went sideways.

If you’ve seen previous knee injuries and actually looked into it, then you figure out what it coincides with.

I’m just afraid that, even if it’s not serious, it’ll be something that limits him and nags on for a while.

Best case scenario, but as people have said, it could linger. We need all,of our guys to wear knee braces, if they aren’t going to stop that stuff

Well, it was about one inch away from being identical to Anfernee Jennings exact injury.

With all the depth at OLB not sure why 31 was out there with florida coming up next week.

Hyperextension usually will cost a normal human about two weeks.

Completely valid question, especially against this type of opponent and with the game already being over.

An offensive player intentionally leaving their feet to block within 3 yards of the los should be an ejection

Just heard Hyper as well. Getting MRI in the morning to be sure but he is walking fine, no pain at the moment. Hope it holds and we are good.

These kind of knee impacts can cause a really wide variety of injuries, just depends on how ligaments are affected.

I'll say though I had a very similar injury myself playing. Was playing RG in practice, run play, straight man to man blocking on a DT. TE is supposed to be pulling behind me, he gets tripped by the LG's leg, helmet straight into the outside of me knee causing it to buckle inward.

For me it was a moderate LCL sprain and a mild MCL sprain. My kneecap also fluxed out and back into socket, causing some tissue issues. Probably could have gotten proper treatment, sat out 1-2 weeks, and been fine.

Instead I tried to push through and play. My knee could still generate power north/south but was unstable with lateral movement. Ended up with basically the same injury two more times before I really went to a doctor and had it checked out. Next thing I know... cartilage around the kneecap is wrecked, LCL and MCL are wrecked, meniscus has damage. Permanent knee instability now until I eventually get a replacement and couldn't ever get cleared for anything other than swimming (which I did end up doing at around 280 lbs for a year... looked good in a speedo).

All that is to say I hope his injury isn't severe, and I hope they are cautious and protective of the injury. When dealing with ligament and tissue injuries around the knee, a minor injury can make it vulnerable to something much worse.
