Given the two will play to decide who makes it, I think we’ll probably have to play whoever is better.

From a fan standpoint, I’d like to see Texas miss the playoff because the conference schedule Sankey gave them is a disgrace.

Always Texas.

I do not like the idea of going up against an Elko coached defense with Jalen Milroe at QB.

That and A&M's read option offense might be more of problem then Ewers. Bama's defense is more built to stop pro style attacks and less these option offenses.

With a couple weeks to prepare, I like Bama’s chances with either. We have the best coach in the country

This all assuming that we beat Oklahoma out there and then take care of Auburn at home. Can’t take anything for granted.

You don’t have a couple of weeks. As always, the SECCG is the Saturday after the Iron Bowl.

Something else to point out. You don’t know who your opponent is until they play and conclude the game on the same day we play Auburn. But also Missouri can’t lose both remaining games, Tennessee and Vanderbilt etc. A lot of ball left to play.

With all that said I think Texas needs to meet us in the SECCG. It’s almost Destiny at this point. If we have become our 1st half against UGA. We can run the table. It’s that simple.

Assuming we make it, I think both present problems but Aggy has less of a passing game so you gotta take them if you're fighting for a trophy.

Assuming we win out (still a big if for me. Currently only a 2.5 point favorite against OU)
We would have had 3 common opponents with Texas and 4 with aTm.
Texas - Georgia. Oklahoma, Vanderbilt
aTm - LSU, Missouri, South Carolina, Auburn

ETA:
No idea where I saw that 2.5 point spread.
Maybe that was one from the beginning of the season

I'd almost rather take the chance against a defense that surrendered 44 to South Carolina than a Texas defense that sent Milroe to the bench last year.

Sellers is a similar QB to Milroe down to the strengths and flaws. I think you could project a lot from that game.

They're a tough team...physical, hard nosed, but we'd be fortunate to catch them in the SECCG if we made it. They're down their best player on offense (Moss, RB) and they didn't handle the combo of vertical attack passing + running QB earlier this season.

That’s a good question. Do you fear the Texas offense or the AM defense?

I don’t fear any defense. I’d rather have Texas A&M.

Texas fans have been so friggin annoying this year, I would LOVE to beat them. Downside would be losing to those asses. Lmao, but I think Bama could do it.

Texas because it’s Milroe’s revenge game. He’s more likely to be motivated.

Auburn at home.

OU sucks. This game does not worry me a bit. Weather looks like it will be a little chilly, so Milroe will run a lot to keep warm.

Since 2008, in Tuscaloosa, barn has one one-point victory. All the other games were BAMA by double digits. This year will be no different. BAMA is going to burn the barn to ash.

We OWE Tejas an arse-whipping. I hope they win out in the regular season.
