Nice - from everything out there he seems like a very well respected, progressive strength coach.

Better watch out. They are anti hand bras. For whatever reason

Personally, I think hand bras are wonderful

Refused to shave his mustache and road back to Eugene on a Penny Farthing.

Few things better than a naked woman stroking her nipples.

Its a really weird rule. Some bikinis show far more than a hand bra can.

I would be very excited about this hire.. especially the package deal. This would be an upgrade and should show on the field. Like any strength coach don’t really expect to see the results for another 2 years.. it takes time to get players bought in and change. In 4 years the machine will be full steam.. but 2 years we will start to see

We could trademark the ballout belt as the Ballou-t belt

Reading that article about Ballou and Rhea......that's almost exactly what we've talked about in terms of being progressive and cutting edge in what we do. And from the sounds of it they are highly respected in the field.

The whole head coach when the head coach isn't there thing is still a big question, but in terms of strength and conditioning this package seems like a home run.

The Ballou and Rhea article makes them sound exactly like Saban guys. I'm sure Saban is offering to at least double their salaries and giving them an open checkbook to implement what they please. Very impressive pair of coaches.

Not arguing with your excitement about Ballou and Co. I'm as excited about his/their potential hiring as anyone. But I disagree with your 2/4 year statements. Why? 1) a player's body can change significantly in 1 year, and 2) Bama's players aren't starting from the bottom rung of the S&C ladder.

I see no reason why we can't hit the ground running and be in excellent shape (pun intended) as a football program immediately. Sure, we won't see any theoretical results as it pertains to injuries for several years, as that data must be accumulated through time, but Bama is not behind any S&C 8ball now, and there's no reason to frame the hire or frame the football team in such a way.

The 2007 team looked a lot different than the 2006 team. It might not have shown in the wins and losses, but the guys looked better.

I’m not saying that we’ll have such a drastic change, but it is possible

True. A lot of progress can and will be made from the end of spring training till the start of fall camp. Summer workouts are of vital importance toward fielding a championship program each fall. I especially think the speed training will pay dividends especially with front seven guys.

Look at LSU in 2018 vs. 2019. They looked totally different. Changes can absolutely be made in off season. Players can lose weight and get faster in several months time. I know. I did it when I played.

So wait who are we talking about now? The title is misleading at this point.

Yeah, wish the OP would change the title to "Who will be our new S&C coach".
