With all of the bitchng about CDK, I'm curious as who should and could we hire.

Kirby ain't leaving UGA. Cignetti isn't leaving Indiana as long as Cuban is buying players. Cristibol isn't leaving Miami.

We really don't have many options, IMO, other than take a chance like Auburn did on Golesh.

Let's hear those calling for CDK's firing think we should go after and get.

I hope you knuckeheads plan on contributing to the huge buyout, too.

We could hire any poster from this board and they'd be an immediate improvement over this NAIA/PAC12 pussy bullshite we have, now.

First, he’s not getting fired. But regardless, if that was the logic, bama would not have the number of titles we have.

DeBoer isn’t getting fired.

Grubb will be the sacrificial lamb after this season

I could see someone taking a chance on wommack as an HC too. Young guy, good energy. May not always be a great defensive product that we see, but I think he is viewed positively over all.

Grubb isn’t going anywhere. He’s been with Deboer since the beginning essentially.

Every single reasonable name that has been thrown around on this forum would be a lateral move at best.

Bama’s big time boosters are pretty stingy with their money already and we don’t have a super rich one either….if things don’t turn around, I don’t think most will be eager to invest in the program with the current results we are getting from the coaches we have now. We will just have to suffer until the buyout becomes affordable. I wasn’t particularly thrilled with this hire from the get go and honestly I don’t see anything happening to change my mind. I hope I’m wrong and he turns it around…I’d gladly eat my words!!

His contract is up in February 2027. He doesn't want to be here and most people not named Kalen DeBoer don't want him here.

I don't see him being here past February. I don't think he gets renewed.

CKD will be here through the 2028 season at minimum unless he leaves on his own.

Can we just not give any coaches any extensions for a while. That's the first step.

Vince Kehres, strong pedigree who won on division 3 level. Mount Union coaching tree that's produced super bowl champion coaches and folks like Matt Campbell. He's coached both offense and defense. He was toledo DC when they whooped msu in starkville.

You can read what the rant thinks of him.

So another coach that’ll have a panic attack at Neyland?

Wommack CANNOT allow UGA/UK/UT to average 19 points and ONLY force 7 turnovers in those 3 games while facing 10-13 possessions on average.

That is UNACCEPTABLE.

Bama’s Offense’s inability to sustain drives, keeping the defense off the field (even every once in awhile) and not turning the ball over deep in your own territory repeatedly is NO EXCUSE!

There's no one realistic that wouldn't be a gamble. It's silly to think DeBoer should be fired.

He just needs to fire Grubb and evolve his offensive philosophy. I still think he can succeed at Bama.
The Saban Dynasty was the bookend on traditional college football. This is a new era, but there's no reason CKD can't have Bama as an annual contender...with changes.

I just want to see CKD without Grubb.

Wommack is hated on here for surrendering the 2nd fewest points, yards and forcing the most turnovers in the SEC while facing the 13th most possessions out of 16 teams

But apparently he needs to be FIRED bc Georgia/UK/UT averaged 19.1 points in those 3 games this season and Bama ONLY forced 7 turnovers in those 3 games combined.

Special Teams have been solid too.

CKD produced the Big10’s leading rusher at Indiana (pre-NIL) and showed he’s willing to adapt under Sheridan (less than 20 pass attempts per game with 14 designed QB runs).

Give Bama just a MEDIOCRE Offensive Coordinator and they are 7-0
