College football is more like the NFL now than ever. They are both now week by week leagues where outcomes are dictated by player availability, team game to game performance swings significantly and every game stands on its own.

Those of us who have been watching the NFL are very familiar with this, folks who only have watched college or Alabama specifically over the years just aren't used to the type of product that the current environment creates.

Realistically, all the coaches that people have been beating the drum to replace DeBoer lost last week or already have multiple losses on the year. There simply isn't the capability of dominance of the previous eras.

Ok? Like contracts can’t be extended or anything am I right? Deboer is not in anyway going to fire grubb. You have to be real with yourself. Does he put out feelers? Maybe. Best we can hope for is someone like Fresno state or similar hires him. Or flip side Michigan or usc hires Deboer.
