I'm sick of the mega thread in regards to the Basketball team. Sick of having to scroll multiple pages to get to current thread. This board should be full of new threads about our team.
These guys are playing great..we finally have a coach that can recruit and coach.

I'm getting pumped about this team now. Would be amazing to win the football NC and then make at least the Sweet Sixteen in basketball.

Mega threads suck in general. Most people dont want to read through pages and pages of posts to try to dig out important pieces of info.
Like the coaching search thread. There should be a new thread every time a coach is leaving or hired. That’s important info that’s buried in some random post on page 6 of a 13 page thread

Alright this is just bullshite. Chad keeps that thread up to date with all the news. And they are 6 or 7 of us that post regularly and it requires zero effort to find something in that thread.

Had a couple things to do this afternoon, and I just finished watching the recording. That's the best game this team has played in years. Fantastic defense and hustling. And when you have a game when you do those, and all your 3s are falling, you end up with a game where you embarrass the hell of someone.
I'm most impressed by the defensive rotation in zone. Whenever someone gets beats, 2+ guys rotate, and shut down the lanes. Nobody is getting easy shots. There's big guards and quick forwards, and they seem to have really good chemistry right now.
This team just keeps improving with every game. It's been a really damn good week for Bama sports.

^^^^. Nailed it. That was one of the best games I've seen from Alabama in my life. Defense was absolutely suffocating. Offense was incredible. We took the gas off or we could have beaten them by 40.
Did I mention that the defense was incredible? That's when you know you have a good team, when they can score and play scrappy defense.
Also, this is not flash-in-the-pan one off play. This is 7 games and not only that but the team has progressively gotten better. We started off beating some teams while not really shooting that well. The team built up confidence and started scoring. Then they beat Auburn by outscoring them and without having prepped for Cooper. They stifled Kentucky. Now they blow out an Arkansas team that at least has a good record.
Game after game, good play.
The guys are locked in. They don't let down with a lead. They don't showboat. They stay within the system and play hard. And the pieces are starting to click. They have a deadly outside-inside offensive scheme. Guys are able to get to the rack and truly force defenses to collapse in.

The basketball mega thread is my favorite place on the entire internet. Lots of great folks in there. And as far as hating a mega thread, you won’t get reamed with “germans” jokes for asking something that’s already been asked like you would on the SECrant. Those guys get excited about talking basketball.
