The only good tackle gave Miss State another chance to tie it up at the end of the game.

I don’t care if Moses is green; Holcombe is useless out there.

He has no fire. Evans was out of position trying to make up for Holcombe weakness

Evans leaned on SDH to make calls, he doesn't have that luxury now. Evans has to step up or Holcombe will continue to have to be counted on at MIKE.

Moses has mostly gotten on the field as a passrusher, which means he doesn't know the defense well.

He showed why he has never started.

He is the worst linebacker to start for Bama in years. Just awful.

He had a terrible game but has done well up to this point. We shouldn't give up on him. It's gonna take some time for our defense to adjust to these injuries and the lack of leadership that comes from that.

If Moses was better, Saban would have played him instead.

He’s got the ability, he’s just too damn tentative. By the time me meets a running back, they’re four yards down the field and he’s on his heels.

After the coaches watch the film something will happen.

It was rough for him. It wasn't a lack of effort. Our coaches with figure it out.

You're crazy. Holcombe is trash outside of special teams.

I agree with Boz.. coaches will see the film and adjust quickly. We will try new things against Mercer

Help me out here. . how many "bodies" do we have left that call themselves linebackers?

How many on scholarship?
How many walk ons?

They said on ESPN something about "4 out of 7 out" . . if we only have 3 left we're fricked.

I’m just speculating but it’s almost like he and several of the young LBs played timid. Like they knew we couldn’t afford another injury. I’m either being naive or we might be in big trouble. I can’t remember a Saban coached defense that looked anything like we witnessed tonight. We got an ugly win, but those are still better than a pretty loss.....

Talking to you 7SU....

He was bad against LSU and every other team we've played has been complete shite.

Yep. I love the guy but he doesn't belong out there... injuries or not.

This was really Holcombe's first bad game. And he only plays situationally. I assume there's really no one better available. Same reason Tony Brown plays.
