I’d be ok with making him a “co-DC” to pacify him while his contract runs out. Bring in Pruitt or someone else to make the calls and coach the LBs. I miss the Pruitt/Bo Davis days.

He is good enough to be a DC at a lot of places, just not Bama. I wouldnt mind a demotion but I think someone like Kiffin hires him as DC.

I agree that Saban needs to make moves. I'd be surprised if we don't see some movement in the next 30 days. It could stretch longer if he has candidates who are on NFL playoff teams.

As for Georgia I don't know the makeup of their team but their teams experience level isn't the issue. The issue is they have gone 2 years and lost one game. They have two rings. Three if you include the SEC title ring which they finally got this year. No matter if the team is full of sophomore's or seniors the dog mentality erodes with success. It's a slow process, don't expect anything but winning from Georgia next year but as the season wears on. There's going to be cracks. The fear of losing fades having not experienced it. I don't believe there is any way to avoid it. no coaching technique can stop it. They can say they want to go for 3 peat or whatever. it's just not the same as the bitterness that Bama players are feeling this morning, knowing that had they taken care of business it could have been them. It's a bitterness that isn't going away any time soon. I hope it burns in deep. We need a bunch of guys who are very unhappy and dissatisfied people. Hateful people.

We should make a run at Jedd Tedford and get Pruitt in some capacity.

Georgia will be preseason number 1 and face no resistance in the regular season. They will be riding a 29 game win streak going into Atlanta next year.

Bama has a favorable home schedule, with just two tough road games at A&M and Auburn. Bama takes care of the home schedule and goes at least 4-1 on the road and Bama is in Atlanta too.

We all know how Bama plays as a underdog.

Georgia is in a great spot, but this is an overreaction.

Honestly, they got outplayed by Ohio State and very easily could have lost that game. They were not some invincible wrecking ball like TCU made them look last night.

UGA is a program in an amazing spot, but the line between a national title and not having one is much thinner than what you saw last night.

One thing that watching Georgia makes clear to me is that we have to get back to being dominant on the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. UGA does that and you see the results. You saw the results when we were dominant a few years ago. Our linemen have to step up.

100%. We are not nasty enough up front. We've got talent. Either S&C or coaching or motivation isn't where it needs to be. I'm guessing some of all three.

Bama has already taken the appropriate steps on offense with Eric Wolford. Defensive line needs to get better but I think that Roach signing James Smith is a step in the right direction.

For once we can say Clemson and Ohio State have a tougher schedule than an SEC team. UGA's schedule is such a joke

for once in my life I am hoping AU is good enough to beat UGA next year. Otherwise it will have to be UT

S&C position has to change also. Tired of seeing our lineman getting bullied around. Line coaching may need looking at also but strength or lack there of really stands out! We used to dominate both sides of the ball, especially defense!

UGA doesn’t get tested until late November when they go to Knoxville. Which means their new starters get a long runway to develop into their roles.

Again, this doesn’t diminish their accomplishments and it’s not their fault, but it really is a very fortunate position to be in.

Ravens- You are absolutely correct. The SEC is a line of scrimmage league.

Jesus bleeding crucified Christ.

Some of you guys need to take a trip in the way back machine to the Mike era.

We didn’t win the title this year, and missed the playoff for the 2nd time…ever. The sky is not falling.

If you bother to check you might notice we don’t win it every year, but we’re always in the conversation, which is the most you can hope for.

TWO….count them TWO years since Nick arrived the national champion was either us or someone who had to beat us.

Isn't this true for all teams? It's like saying "Saban's true weakness is an elite and accurate QB."

S&C & Nutrition staff can't control 24/7 everything the players consume. Maybe players who get too damn fat should be demoted to the scout team until they get themselves in proper physical condition.

To be fair, we have brought in some that were very overweight and have had to mold them into shape ( George, Roberts , (Ferguson ) etc
