I just don't understand why they ever have to use this from the press box camera angle. We have cameras out there. We make $1B a year. Give us a normal baseball tv angle for every game. This is bush league.

Picked to finish #2 in the Colonial, a league with UNCW, Charleston, etc. Their 3B is the preseason player of the year. They've 71-46 in the CAA the last 4 years I think. So not terrible.

However, I'm sure they've barely been outside on the field so far, so probably pretty rusty.

Been out to lunch with the boy. Yes, he pitched at the college level. Did you play?

Keep us up on the game. I have cut the cable.

I played small division ball my freshman year then retired and transferred to Alabama to be a normal college kid. Too small and too little pop, even for a M-IF.

5-0 Bama, T5

I wish they'd also add some trees behind the stadium so there's not an ugly parking lot in sight. Just to clean it up a bit

They'd need to make room for a lot of trees to hide the parking lot. The stadium just isn't in a very scenic location.

That happens with a lot of guys. Did having played awhile help any when job searching after graduation?

I think it absolutely helped with certain interviewers just from a curiosity perspective. I certainly played it up as teaching me discipline, but I only played 1 year so it wasn't that large a piece of my resume.

I kind of bundled it with other stuff I did (industry work, leadership stuff) as selling myself as somebody who'd had to prioritize things and learned how to juggle more than one thing at a time.

I'm not sure it worked but I got hired and have been at the same firm for 10+ years now so I guess it didn't hurt

I was just thinking in that grassy area directly behind the stadium adding a row of some evergreens to hide it. Out in LF there's probably nothing to be done

Not a scenic location but it can be spruced up some

You talking the
The real solution is shorten the fences and build a big red monster.

More HRs + iconic stadium feature is what the people want.

That’s what I’m thinking. It shows dedication to team and cause and ability to have self-discipline. It shows a willingness to sacrifice partying for a goal. Kind of like working your way through college. It shows a certain drive, focus and forward lean.
