Yeah I think so too, the mutual interest wouldn't make sense otherwise.

Langston Wilson transferred to Arlington. I still remember when half the thread was saying he would start over Bediako.

Again, I like Mack, but with Bediako and Pringle on board, playing him significant minutes at the 5 is questionable at best

Cool. We can use him at 4. We need to get more physical. It's been our Achilles heel all year. A dude that can bang in the post and step outside and shoot 35%+ would be perfect. And if he has to play some 5, he's big enough that he can.

He’s definitely big enough to play the 5, my main question is if he quick enough at the 4 to guard other SEC 4’s like Ricky Council ect.

On the flip side I’d like to see someone like Ricky Council try to guard Mack when he is posting up. He’d have no chance at stopping him.

Really impressed with the assistant hires so far. This will get downvoted hard, but I loved having Pettway on staff for so many reasons, one of which being not having all white guys. It shouldn’t matter, but at Alabama you wonder if schools might use it in negative recruiting.

That said, build the Arena and shore up NIL and we should be a force to be reckoned with for a long time with Oats at the helm.

BJ Mack looked like a 40 year old man at 16.

Not an unreasonable thought. Far too many people care only about race these days.

It's standard to have at least one black coach on staff.

Doubtful. He still has to visit Kansas St. this week. So we may get him, probably just not in the next 48 hours.

Allegedly it's Creighton's ex-bag man, but his show cause isn't up for another month or two so we can't hire him until then.

Apparently Arkansas is going to pick up another portal guard today in El Ellis.

They should be a preseason top 5 team. Theyre getting a lot of high volume shooters will be interesting to see how it plays out. Only one ball to go around.

When Bill Self, Rick Pitino, Sean Miller, and Bruce Pearl are walking the sidelines unpunished for cheating, any penalty this guy has is ridiculous - especially since, according to reports, he returned the money right away. Point is he, like any other assistants actually punished, is black. Speculation was we had also talked to a Michigan assistant, a black man, whom Oats gave his first job in high school. Plus we interviewed Roy Rogers. Oats is doing a great job putting together a hole new staff, bringing in a sitting head coach and an NBA assistant, and whomever he hires for that third spot will be a lot more than simply a "bag man."
