Kid was snatching the hell out of those boards. I like that.

I’ll have a few opportunities to watch Pringle this year. I’m not much of a scout, but DCCC will be within 30 minutes or so from where I live for 3 games this year. I’ll go and check them out.

Hard to tell much except he's big and athletic. But he's big and athletic for sure.

I did laugh at the cross-court pass starting at 1:10. Looked like he was trying to kill somebody.

Does he play offense?

We got one dunk and one free throw in a two minute highlight video.

Go easy on Carl. He always played hard, hustled and showed flashes on occasion.

One thing you have to say, he gave what he had. All you can ask.

You also have the the portal now, which adds another layer to decisions like this. I would have to think they must be high on Pringle’s potential, because otherwise you’d probably just wait on the portal.

This seems a lot like the Langston Wilson recruitment. We tell the kid he has a spot right now, but that it's subject to change come portal time (or at least I hope we're up front with them on that). I will say it would be a pretty bad look to future JUCO prospects if we do that in back-to-back years though.

The Wilson situation was in the back of my head when posting that.

Maybe there’s a clearly stated expectation that we expect him to work on his game and improve as the year goes on?

Anyway, he also has some of that bounce and quick twitch stuff Wilson had, with a much bigger frame. If he can defend, rebound, roll to the rim and catch the ball, that might be all we need.

Pringle has the body to play in the SEC and I think he has a higher ceiling than Wilson which is crazy to me that I'm even saying (posting) it because Wilson has a high one as well if he develops properly.

Wilson- A Poor Man's (DeAndre Jordan)
Pringle- More of a (Obi Toppin) I think

When I saw Saban and Bear had said don't give up, I knew we were fricked. That, and it's hard to say no to kolaches.

Alabama (@AlabamaMBB) has shown interest in 2023 W Elijah Fisher. Possible re-class candidate for 2022.

Very likely we’re heading towards maybe the deepest class of Canada’s when it’s all said and done.

Us getting in on the ground floor of what's about to happen with Canadian prep basketball is a very, very good thing.

He could also be a true Alabama big man and be completely unable to catch a basketball

Even Bobby Lee Hurt, who had hands as big as frying pans, couldn't.

Bobby Lee definitely had trouble holding onto the ball. Leon Douglas and Charles Cleveland could snatch a ball out of the air with one hand.

He's probably waiting for Chad to get back from vacation.
