Who off of this years team do we see returning next year?

Bediako
Ambrose-Hilton
Miles
Holt
Gary
Tchikou
Burnett

This is a nice returning nucleus. Guards, wings and bigs all covered however thinly. If Shack were to return could win a lot of games without any additions. Thankfully, there should be a plentiful influx of great talent.

Shackelford - won't be drafted in first round, probably not in 2nd, but may leave for overseas or G-League anyway unless he gets a sweet NIL deal at Bama

Gurley - eligibility
Quinerly - will be intriguing to the NBA with his quickness and shot, but height and slight build will be a drawback. But will probably leave because he won't be able to improve much more in college. Probably a 2nd round pick unless he has a spectacular year.
Davidson - fabulous athlete with decent PG size and strength. Unless he bombs, highly unlikely, should be a 1st round pick.
Ellis - eligibility
Rojas - eligibility

Tchikou hits the tournament sealing shot!!!

He did not hurt his knee. He was 3 for 3 in shots it showed and played the whole game it looked like, so his conditioning must be good.

Nice. I feel like there is a lot of scuttlebutt flying around about him. But one thing looks clear from any film of him on the court, he could help this team in a major way next season. He has an incredible combo of size and skill.

This link will take you right to Tchikou's game winner if you don't want to watch the whole thing. He also hit a three and had a dunk in the game.

For real idk, I guess if he got any money he would have to pay it back.

Yep. Call it an appearance fee and he's probably good.

It was for 200k. I am sure our compliance people are aware of it. And im just gonna hope that he wasn't dumb enough to play in that "tournament" without clearing it with them first.

The winning team last year won 100k donated to their favorite charity.

This year the prize was 200k but I assume it was also donated to charity.

Well that is comforting.

Tchikou is the most interesting player on the roster, imo. He could be a huge X factor. Will be interesting seeing him and Gurley on the floor together.

In Drew De Armond ESPN 97.7 interview from April, posted this morning, Furman broadcaster says Gurley has 2 years to play at Alabama and plans to do so. Obviously plans change (Primo) but he does have two years.

The question was asked earlier where we would put Bama if Shack came back but I think Tchikou is the guy that determines another Sweet 16 run or Final 4. If he stays healthy and lives up to the hype this year, we probably have two lottery players in our lineup by the end of the year.

Maybe a dumb question, but how and why did Tchikou end up playing in this thing? Were Oats and Company cool with it? It just seems incredibly random, especially coming off an injury, to go out and play with rappers and other randos in a 3 on 3 short court TV tournament during the offseason when other guys are on campus.

Just wondering if there a backstory there that I've been missing all along, because I just kind of assumed there had to be because I couldn't make sense of it

The championship game of that TCL league Tchikou was in and out, I haven't watched yet about to. He hurts his knee according to someone on BOL from what I understand?

Tchikou makes the winning bucket, so if he hurt his knee, it wasn't too bad.

I would guess that it's one of those things that they didn't really want him to do, but can't exactly stop him from doing since it's the offseason. Because the whole thing just seemed very random to me. He probably he did it because he's a teenager who had something he loved taken away from him for a year and he took the first opportunity presented to him to get it back. I'd bet that he saw something about it on social media and reached out to the organizers rather than the other way around.

Five-star rising senior Jaden Bradley gives you a lot of everything. Elite playmaking and defense are two of his extremely strong areas though.

For @TeamCp3AAU in six games: 39 assists and 12 steals. Had some very big games for them.

UAA Dallas: Five-star forward Jarace Walker recaps official visits

The top-ranked rising senior at Under Armour this weekend was none other than five-star forward Jarace Walker. A 6-foot-7 hybrid four-man out of New Freedom (Pa.) Walker embraced his two-way versatility in front of the programs that are deeply in the mix.

“I just want to prove that I can do it all on the floor,” says Walker. “It has definitely been a great experience being able to showcase my talents in front of high-level coaches and schools.”

During the month of June, Walker took official visits to Alabama, Auburn, Houston, and Ohio State. Each program was represented by a coaching staff member at each of Walker’s games this weekend.

Walker recapped his takeaways from each visit with 247Sports after his initial performance at Session II:

Alabama: “I like how their playstyle is fast-paced. They really play up and down and get up a lot of threes. I think they were a top-three school in the country in transition baskets. I definitely love to play at that pace and feel that is where I can really showcase my athleticism.”

Auburn: “Wes Flanigan was recruiting me from that staff. They have an amazing head coach in Bruce Pearl. They have a lot of pro experience and I definitely like what they have done with the players they have had so far.”

Houston: "Quannas White has been recruiting me and it was a great visit. They have a high-level family atmosphere over there. They get up and down the floor, play hard, and play together. So I definitely like what they have going on over there.”

Ohio State: “Tony Skinn has been recruiting me. The atmosphere has been amazing over there. I definitely felt a family vibe from their program. I like how the school plays at a good pace. They run good sets, have a good offense, and I like how they defend as well.”

Walker has not given any thought to when he will announce his final decision. When discussing his timeframe and factors, Walker says, “I am really trying to focus on my game and development as of now to win the Under Armour Finals. But I want to choose a school with a good family atmosphere. I am also looking forward to getting better while receiving a lot of playing time so I can showcase my talent. I feel I can do those things with a team that will grow and prepare me on and off the floor.”

Walker is a strong physical specimen with a cut-up frame and broad shoulders at the hybrid four-man spot. He is a nice vertical athlete who can finish emphatically when given the chance, block shots, and assert himself on the glass. When Walker steps on the floor, you can expect to get a contribution from him in a lot of ways. He is one of those guys who gets rebounds, assists, and scores.

His Achilles heel is in his jump shot. He tends to settle for jumpers when getting caught up in trying to prove he is a big wing although he has proved he is most effective in looking to score within fifteen feet at this stage.

Nevertheless, his game compares favorably to former Iowa State standout and NBA first-round pick Royce White in how he is a versatile power forward who has the physical tools, ball-handling ability, passing vision, and budding face-up skills that should only continue to blossom at the next level.

Walker is ranked the No. 11 overall prospect in the industry-generated 247Sports Composite Rankings.
