Former Auburn wide receiver Horatio Fields has committed to Ole Miss, according to multiple reports.

Fields previously committed to Missouri out of the transfer portal in January but is now headed to Oxford instead.

The 6-2, 200-pounder missed all but four games this year with an injury. He will have two years of eligibility remaining at Ole Miss.

I don’t think “committed” is the language these schools should be using. They sound pretty stupid trumpeting “committed” when it’s more of a “maybe kinda sorta thinking I will if the money is right and no one comes along and outbids.”
