There were some articles at the time that he wanted to go to NC but they wanted him to wait a year/didn't have a slot or some such.
UNC would've sucked a hobo's dick to get anyone with some length last off-season. They pretty much knew their season was fricked in July, after missing on 4 or 5 center/big targets.
And Jarin's stock was higher last off-season. He was in multiple mock drafts as a 1st round pick going into the season. He was expected to have a big season after the tournament. Why would they take him now when his draft stock is lower than it's ever been?

Well, smartass, some are saying that's exactly what he might do.
And apparently you're a real winner. Stupid arse comment.

Impressive for UA women to have 3 players drafted in the top 32. Good for them and Coach Curry

On the bright side, with all the exits we should have a ton of NIL money freed up. And I think there’s about 8 days or so left in the portal. Hopefully we get to to tampering and get a couple quality guys to jump in and fill these last couple spots.

Aden Holloway
Latrell Wrightsell, Jr.
Jalil Bethea
Houston Mallette
Davion Hannah
Amari Allen
London Jemison
Taylor Bol Bowen
Aiden Sherrell
Noah Williamson
Well probably add three more and I’d guess Rylan is one of them. Need to knock it out of the park with the other two spots because that roster is nowhere near what we’ve had the last couple years and has a lot of holes. I assume one or two of the freshmen end up redshirting because you aren’t playing 13 and most likely aren’t playing 12 to any extent.

So, just saw a video on Nikola Jokic. And it included a screenshot of his rivals recruiting ranking, and it showed him as having signed with Alabama.
Did I miss something? Was Avery recruiting him before he decided to skip college and go to the NBA?

I didn't mean to imply there was a conspiracy. Just followed the money from his personal viewpoint.

We need a starting PG and a backup big. I honestly think finding a serviceable backup big is harder. Not many people want to sign up for that role. Funny enough, Ugonna Onyenso is back in the portal. He appeared to be our backup option if Cliff didn't sign. That said, he was apparently terrible last year.

I am also optimistic we can find another guard to run point so Holloway can stay a 6th man combo guard.
The frontcourt depth is a dire situation because, as you said, it is hard to find bigs who want to transfer to be depth. Ugonna Onyenso would be a take imo. He's a well-built 7fter even if he's not put it together on the court. At worst, he's 5 fouls against a team with a low post scorer.

Give me a starting PG, Rylan, and a stretch 4 that can relieve TBB instead of having to rely on someone like Jemison immediately. If Bethea plays up to his potential and Aden/Aiden makes the growth expected, that's a pretty dangerous lineup.

Wish we could just get Jaron Pierre and Onyensov and ride it out. That way if Philon comes back we have that spot open.

Pierre committed to SMU. Onyenso is not a need with two centers already on the roster.

Former South Carolina and Alabama forward Nick Pringle has signed with Arkansas, @chris_hummer and I have learned for @cbssports/@247sports.
Averaged 9.5 points and 6.3 rebounds per game at South Carolina this season.

Dang! I really wanted Pierre. Hopefully the freshman will be better than expected and we can count on Wrightsell being healthy.

Not sure why we didn’t go after Pringle. Our two centers aren’t very good rebounders and we need a rebounding big.

Nate Oats suspended him multiple times his last year here. Oats doesn’t suspend or dismiss many.
That’s prob the reason
