I will say this...
Defensively: I think we are playing a different coverage then what Cliff is use to so it'll take a few games for him to get comfortable with it. I've been kind a disappointed with the our guards rebounding. I think they should average a lot more rebounds. Our bigs do the dirty work and then our guards just sit and watch. They got to do a better job versus Houston.
I also think drop coverage allows our guards to get beat a lot. They are constantly getting picked off so now they got to recover around screens and believe it or not that's extremely difficult so with that being said I hope DROP COVERAGE defense doesn't allow Houston guards to get a rhythm like it did for Purdue.
We got to come in ready to play from the jump.
I know who Mark Sears is and he's the best guard on any floor. I got to remind people about the two exhibition games (vs Wake Forest-19pts, 3rebs, 6ast) (vs Memphis-20pts, 3-5 3pt) before the season...Mark Sears will be ready to go versus Houston.

I will say Houston's shooting percentages thus far are eye-popping. They have 8 guys who have attempted 4 or more 3-pointers this season. Only 1 of those 8 guys is shooting under 40% from deep. Those 8 guys combined are shooting 51% from beyond the arc.
Gonna be big for Cliff to stay out of foul trouble against Roberts and hopefully make him pick up a few. Houston had trouble with Auburn's length but they've pummeled everyone else they've played, including a decent Hofstra team. Sherrell forcing Roberts out of the paint might also be good to open up space for the drivers.

Would be shocked if UConn 3peated. They have not been impressive so far this year

Penny and Memphis are putting it on Uconn

Pringle with 3 fouls in 4 minutes tonight. Some things never change.

Most talented team in program history and of course frigging Auburn has to have a juggernaut the same season.

Both Alabama and Auburn have legit chances to make the Final Four this year. Super legit chances.

Auburn has to be the prohibitive favorite to win it all. No real weaknesses.

Though I will say the teams playing the best ball in November rarely seem to be the ones playing the best ball in March.

What weaknesses does Alabama have?
