Looks like the team is doing their boot camp retreat this weekend.

Zion wasn't even the top rated recruit in his class on any recruiting service. He was #5 247 composite. His hype didn't go into overdrive until after he was at Duke.

I think Flagg had more hype than anyone mentioned. Especially after being put on the USA select team and playing well.

So Flagg and AJ are pretty damn similar with hype. But I've recently read some quotes from NBA scouts saying he's one of the best they'd seen in a decade.

Zion's hype was already there with his ridiculous dunks in highschool then once he got to DUKE it show nuff took off.

Flagg is good but he ain't the best in the last decade. That's a huge reach.

I'm a pay close attention to Duke this season though. I think the kid at Rutgers is just as good as Flagg as well.

Mo D looks like he could play some tight end.

Mo is probably going to break my heart just like Gary because he never develops an outside shot either, but if he does he could be a fantastic player.

Report from a summer scrimmage: Red and White teams tied in regulation. In overtime, Mo scored all 7 points for his team, including a 3 to win the game. Look out for Mo.

He could wear a lot of hats here depending on his development

Sounds like we’re still putting up a fight for Jasper Johnson. Obviously not going to stop trying but it’ll be interesting if he delays his announcement date.

I just wanna say Dan Wolken is a piece of shite. I don’t like Bruce Pearl but he is entitled to his political opinions/beliefs and shouldn’t be crucified for sharing them. Every American has that right. If Steve Kerr and Steph Curry can do it with no backlash why can’t Bruce?

Because for a lot of people “let athletes use their platform!” is code for “athletes are usually democrat and I like hearing democrat things.”

To be fair, the reverse is true for a lot of conservatives folks too. I wish politics didnt enter the sports sphere at all. Oats being quietly super republican is enough for me

I’m sure Oats believes what Bruce tweets but I’m very happy Oats isn’t blasting it on Twitter.

The Israel/Palestine thing really transcends typical party lines. I think everyone on this board knows where I stand politically and I’m downvoted accordingly, but at a certain point a decision was made in the 1940s to create a Jewish state and it wasn’t done with much regard to regional tension but short of just saying “hey we fricked up” and abandoning your allies in the region what are you going to do?

That being said I’m all in favor of doing anything that pisses Bruce Pearl off because frick him

Mo D packed on some muscle this off season as well.

It'll be hard keeping him off the floor this season.
He does all the little things that affects WINNING.

Kinda feels like a forgone conclusion at this point that he picks UK.
