Broome has had it his own way vs Alabama. Those days are done. He knows it.

When we had a rim protector Slapnuts had 8pts and 10pts against us. Plus JQ made him his bitch

The 2 Ala-Aub games are going to be amazing. Hot tickets.

How about a Saturday for us this year?

Just hopping in to say how pleased I am with where we stand. It's mid June and Bama is by some books the odds on favorite to win the national title. The schedule is as fan friendly as ever and the expectations are through the roof. The program is in good hands. Oats has shown he can handle losing coaches and players without missing a beat.

Oh, and Auburn lost their tournament game to a school that doesn't even offer athletic scholarships.

Roll Tide!

Do we have a name for that game? Something like a Yale Mary? We need something special to remember that by.

Nah, giving a special name to a game that your rival lost against someone other than you is little brother energy. Our sights are set a little higher than that now. They know they lost to Yale. The smart ones are embarrassed, the dumb ones don’t matter enough.

Not for me. Yeah i want to win the natty. But college sports is about rivalries. The beauty of college sports is talking shite to your co-worker/neighbor that went to your rival school. And we havent gotten so far up the mountain that it looks bad to punch down on little brother. You think Duke wouldnt make fun of UNC for losing to Yale? You think UK shouldnt get shite on for losing to Oakland?

Im not printing a tshirt, and we arent hanging a banner, but Yale smack talk is legit and alive until they win another NCAAT game. They talked shite when we lost to UConn. frick'um.

But the realistic ones know it's almost impossible to beat a team that has 5 coaches on the floor with a huge strength advantage from carrying their own lunch pails.

I'm well aware of the rivalry and what it's like to live and work in close proximity with the "enemy". Of course there should be the back and forth banter for things like that. I was just saying that maybe we should pump the brakes on coming up with a cute nickname to reference. That's like one step shy of asking Daniel Moore to commission a commemorative print.

I just gotta say…Auburn On3 is the best message board on the internet. The delusion they have now that Saban gone and the constant goalpost moving about our basketball team is so fricking funny.

Our Final 4 and Aden Holloway leaving and shitting on Bruce has broken them

It’s the only reason I renewed my subscription after Bama’s roster filled up

I'll be honest. It's been a guilty pleasure of minute for a few weeks. They're batshit crazy and spend a lot of time taking about Bama.

They had a Final Four on us, Saban just retired, we hired Husky Harsin, and everything was coming up Barn, but then things took a turn.

The best part is their Insiders are just 100% Homers and have no objectivity in their reporting. So Cole Pinkston and Justin Hokanson will get them all hyped up and excited…and then they end up being wrong and the whole board melts down and gets pissed at them. And then rinse and repeat

To be fair, the obsession runs both ways. This thread devotes its fair share of posts to Auburn as well

Alabama Basketball Announces Jersey Numbers for 2024-25 Roster (SI)

The Crimson Tide's eight newcomers got their numbers, and a few returners had their numbers changed.

Don’t think we’ve had anyone wear number 22 since Ronald and Andrew Steele. I maybe wrong though.

Wait, you pay for a subscription to be on an Auburn message board?
