The entire 2nd half our offense was stagnant and bad and we made no adjustment or change or anything. Just kept on letting JD dribble around with half arse screens and half dribble to the rim and then dribble back out.
And Nate just let it keep going.
Never made Ellis take control. Never made JD attack the rim. Nothing. Just let it ride, again, and again it turned into total horse shite.
Dude has got to make changes to his adjustments and game management this off-season or this won't be a 1 year dip.

Dumbest Alabama team I can remember, plus they don’t learn from their mistakes.

I think a lot of the shitty officiating against Bama Is due to Oats. He has a reputation with the officials and it isn’t a good one

Gary’s missed layup followed by a corner 3 was probably the game-sealing sequence. Had a chance to push the lead back to 7 and instead it became 2.
Aside from the missed layups, shitty free throw shooting, dearth of perimeter scoring outside Shack, terrible fouls, and comically bad turnovers, I thought we played well.

Been saying it for weeks. If you take away the turnovers, porous defense, and terrible 3pt shooting we'd be a pretty good team.

This season has just been a slow moving disaster since the Houston game and everyone involved has failed. The roster, the staff, everyone. None of them have been good. At all.

OMG I have never seen anyone defend two guys more than you defend Davison and Holt. Davison MIGHT develop into something but Holt is a Division 2 player. He is 2-19 from three this year. That is 10.5 freaking percent! He has only made 3 other shots this year - 2 dunks (one tonight) and a putback tonight. And he shot 3-5 from the line so a 60% shooter from there. You always point to effort and defense. Well hell, if you can't shoot for shite you damn sure better be able to defend. He might should have been in the gym instead of on TikTok during his 1 game suspension.

The Gonzaga and Houston games made us write off the Iona debacle, which probably was the first sign of impending disaster, but I'd say the Memphis game was the real eye opener as far as this team's mentality and toughness.
