Man I’d love that path. I think we beat the first two rounds in that scenario, and obviously we can beat Zaga.

If we end up a 5 seed my wish list 4 seed is Providence. They're fun as hell to watch (I've watched like 4 of their crazy games in the last 2 weeks) but I'd much prefer them to Illinois, UCLA, USC, etc. There is something to be said for finding ways to win, and they have that, but there is also a reason they are barely in the Top 40 on all the "how good are you" metrics.

UCLA and USC could be dangerous.
Providence scares me too.

From our friends at Tide1009.com
Alabama Basketball To Host Red Panda For Season Finale
The No. 24 Alabama Crimson Tide basketball team will play its final home game of the 2021-22 season on Wednesday at 6 p.m. against Texas A&M. The Aggies are currently 10th in the SEC standing but have won three of its last four games, making them a dangerous team.
Alabama is pulling out all the stops to ensure it adds to its stellar 13-2 home record, for halftime entertainment the Tide is welcoming the illustrious Red Panda in to perform and keep the crowd's energy high.
The Tide holds a one-game lead over LSU and a two-game advantage over Texas A&M for the fifth place in the SEC, making each of its final two games important for seeding in the SEC Tournament.
Red Panda has performed at Coleman Coliseum on numerous occasions in the last decade, thrilling the crowd with her ability to unicycle and uncanny balancing act, catching bowls on her head.
There's no reason to expect any seats available for this matchup with Red Panda set to perform at halftime, however, there are a plethora of tickets available on Stubhub for as little as $8.
Red Panda is a staple of halftime performers, Alabama nation needs to not only send our basketball team into the postseason with a strong showing of support, but the Tide needs to welcome Red Panda with open arms as the legend she is.
The Crimson Tide are set to take on the Texas A&M Aggies at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, the game can be heard on 95.3 The Bear and on the 95.3 The Bear App.

This group is never going to be particularly good on defense, but at long as they're average to slightly below average the offense can make up for it. Especially if JQ and Ellis have finally gotten their shite together. Just have to keep the PPP < 1.15 I think.

Baylor beating Texas tonight would have a nice two-fold benefit for us

Yea the roster makeup will be interesting.
I'm saying the following regarding the roster:
Q (gone/pro)
Keon (gone/pro)
JD (gone if he continues to improve and has good workouts)
Shack (back although don't see him improving his draft stock by coming back)
Gurley (stated he's back/gives us post depth and is showing improvement in system)
Bediako (back)
Gary (feel he will transfer)
Miles (feel he will transfer)
KAH (transfer)
Holt (back)
Burnett (back)
Alex (largest team manager we've ever had/safe to say he's not back)
Would like to pick up a PG via transfer and post experience. I don't feel Brandley is as ready as some think and don't like the idea of Bradley and Shack being our only PG options. Would like to see JD back one more year.

I think Gurley is gonna be really good next year. He is now comfortable playing this level of talent every night

His dribble drive to the hoop against SCAR near the baseline was shocking. He’s never moved that fast.

Why the hell would Miles and Gary transfer.

You can pretty much bet our first round opponent will come from Iona, South Dakota St, or Davidson and the next round will come from Providence, UCLA or Houston.
If there's one thing the committee likes, it's revenge games.

Any reason to believe their playing time would improve with next year's roster? Just feel they may want to start somewhere next season. It won't be here.

He wouldn't have participated in the senior day stuff if he was coming back. He gone.
I think that means he's leaning that way, but draft projections change things. Wouldn't surprise me if he did what Shackelford did last off-season, but I don't think he's definitely gone.
For someone that's a borderline late 2nd round pick, he's too good to simply ignore the draft and decide to go overseas, but too borderline to bank on getting drafted. While I would bet on him leaving, there's many reasons I believe he should stay (at least at this point).

Gary is already a starter. Miles has a good at starting with Ellis leaving.

Looks like the ideal seating capacity for the new arena should be closer to 11K if we are going by the average

If you factored in tickets sold, it would be over 12,000 for sure.

We dropped to #25 in the AP rankings, if anyone here actually cares about the AP rankings.
