I just knew they were about to call offensive on Miles with 24 seconds left on the inbound play. Thank god they didn't.

While I think the whistles were inconsistent, I think most of the calls involving Pippen were fouls. He sells some of them pretty well(flops) but they all looked like fouls on the replays. The call I didn’t agree with was the one on JQ on the 3-point shot. Surprised the announcers agreed with it.

This was the most frustrating part for me last night. I understand that's Pippen's game but the officiating was very inconsistent on the other end. It felt like Pippen was getting star treatment, for whatever reason. Also, the jump ball instead of a foul on JD late was laughable, seemed like the refs did everything possible to cover the +4.5.

Same. Couldn't believe they didn't fall for that shite.

Was glad to hear Fishback (I think it was him on the call - I only was able to catch the last few minutes of the game) basically call Pippen a flopper and say that crap wasn't needed in the game.

Well, yeah. He gets fouled. The reason people hate him so much is that he's looking to get fouled and if he happens to get a shot off and it goes in that's just a bonus to him. He's just a shitty version of James Harden. He really gets blatant about it once they're in the bonus. It's a garbage way to play basketball and refs need to stop rewarding it.

Yea it was - by about the 4th foul in the last 3 minutes he was absolutely done with that shite. It was pretty hilarious to hear him progressively getting more upset about it on each Vandy possession.

The Shack arm out foul and check to see if flagrant seemed to be what finally broke him

I mean what the frick were they even looking for. I think that was Quinerly, but he wasn't even fricking looking in that direction and had no idea anyone was there. His arm was out to defend the inbounds.

Win the next 2 and the game at LSU could determine if we get a 4 or a 5.

Looks like we will be between a 4-6. I don't think there's anyway we can get higher or lower than those seed #'s if win out or go 2-2 to close the regular season (losing in the first round of the tourney).

Agree - I've also come around to the thinking that conference tournaments have almost zero bearing on seeding outside of an insane run where you beat 2 Top 5 teams or something.

What did Fishback keep calling it?
Showboating? Something like that. Didn't say "flopping" but he sure wanted to.

Yea I was kinda thinking that winning out at home will just about place our floor at a 5. Even our 1st opponent in the SECT shouldn't be awful

The question is do you want a 4,5 seed and face the #1 seed or a 6 seed to face the #2? It looks like the highest we can get is a 4 seed right now. I guess it depends who that #1 and #2 are and how we match up?

If tourney started today, we'd be the #5 seed playing winner of 12/13 Ole Miss/Mizzu. Winner would play Tenn, then likely Auburn.

I don't hate that.

Don't we match up better with Tenn than Ark/Aub/Ken?
