UGA doesn't match up with anyone above the JuCo level and we still found a way to lose that one.

The Fighting Irish pulled out a dramatic 89-87 victory in double-overtime over Rutgers to advance from the First Four and face Alabama on Friday in San Diego.

I don't think we will see a lot of Chuck if ND uses that 5 out set. I hope he can play more though because I think he could have a good game offensively.

I dialed my office manager twice this morning on the verge of using a sick day, but damn it I’m headed in. I feel like I may have an illness tomorrow though.

NIL in action! But seems a bit late in the season. Not sure how long it’s been available, it this is the first I’ve seen of it. Most of the team appears to be on board. Get your Britton Johnson collectibles here!

our record as a #6 seed, well, not our best days:

1983 Lamar 73-50 (remember listening to this game on the radio late at night - or seemed that way to me -as a kid being so confused why we were getting drilled by Lamar). Ennis and Mike Davis were combined 7 for 28.

1989 S Ala 86-84 (PB&J...ughh)

We will right the ship tomorrow.

I was at this game at The Omni.

It sucked.

That turnover rate and offensive 3pt% difference is not good.

SEC went 3-1 in the NIT with MSU losing a close on at UVa.

If any of the 3 SEC teams lost today, it would be a huge upset (Ken/Ark/Tenn).

Per Torvik

Only using stats from games vs Top 150 opponents on the road/neutral

- #4 Arkansas by 3.7 over #13 Vermont (67-63)

- #2 Kentucky by 18.8 over #15 Saint Peter's (82-63)

- #3 Tennessee by 21.7 over #14 Longwood (83-61)

- #6 Alabama by 3.4 over #11 Notre Dame (83-80)

- #6 LSU by 0.8 over #11 Iowa State (65-64)

- #2 Auburn by 4.1 over #15 Jacksonville State (68-64)

So, Bama by a field goal.

If Jax St hits threes like they have all year, it might be interesting for the Barn.

I actually think LSU might play well with Wade gone. I don't think the possible sanctions will bother the players as much as in the past. Many of their guys can transfer after the season and play immediately elsewhere. UK and Tenn should have an easy time in their games. Longwood is the definition of a team that hasn't played anyone. They played Iowa to open their season and got beat fairly easily and haven't played anyone since. I think Vermont might give Arkansas some issues.

Happy March Madness everyone. Leave the regular season at the door because it's a whole new season. I hate we have to face Mike Brey, he's one of my favorite coaches, but let's beat him tomorrow and buy him an Irish whiskey on Saturday.

I would love for Murray to transfer to us. He's another IMG alum who played with Bradley and Bediako. Miles went to IMG too, but before those two.

I really like LSU over Iowa St, I don't think Will Wade will affect this game too much, Iowa St can't score and LSU is going to shut them down.

This almost makes me want to take the JSU spread but if I do then it'll be a blowout.

I sprinkled Vermont +5 this morning, it's been dropping a bit since yesterday afternoon.

That's a reasonable margin for Alabama, anything over 5 points I'm not touching.
