It is cliché to say but at this point just winning games is truly all that matters. I don't give a damn about the margins or even how we play one iota.

yep, I'll be on cloud 9 tomorrow night and Saturday if we can pull this off. Hope ND is sitting in traffic right now in Dayton and their flight is delayed.

Think I read we turn the ball over 19% of our possessions, which is insanely high.
If we can miraculously cut that down to 10% against the Irish, I like our chances to win and advance to the elite 32.
I wouldn't bet on it however.

19.8%, #270 in the country
Even worse the last month - 23.0%, #345 in the country

10% is probably expecting a little too much, but I think we can get it down to 15% or so - which is Notre Dame's defensive turnover % (15%, #334 in the country).

Oh don't get me wrong, we can win as ugly as we want as long as we win haha I was just comparing spreads to your earlier post.

Alright, no one cares but at 9:42 AM I have my bracket locked in.
Elite 8:
Gonzaga
Duke
Arizona
Villanova
UCLA
Kentucky
Auburn
Iowa
Final 4:
Gonzaga
Kentucky
Arizona
Iowa
Champion:
Gonzaga over Arizona
It's a little chalky but I'm in a money pool with only about 20 people, so didn't want to get too crazy. I did get weird and threw Chattanooga in my Sweet 16 along with Colorado State beating Tennessee. I also feel like the only person in the world outside of Austin that has Texas over VT.

I’ve been burned by the Gonzaga pick too many times before.
I have Kansas beating Kentucky in the final. At ten end of the day, the SEC and Big 12 have been the best conferences all season, and I think that shows in the tournament. I have Tennessee and Gonzaga as my other Final 4 teams.

Screw it, I'm putting Alabama over Duke.

I don’t think Duke makes it to the sweet 16

I’ll say this: walk around downtown San Diego, and you’d have no idea the NCAA tournament is in town — not even outside of the Alabama bar. No signs anywhere. Probably a consequence of there not being a downtown arena and games being held at San Diego State.

Also, I’m guessing a lot will arrive today, but I didn’t see a single person in gear for any of the eight teams playing here.

What's a successful season for Bama? It used to be just making the tournament...I would say now it's a Sweet 16 appearance.
I think they take ND, but Tx Tech is a tough draw for the next round. Would love to see Bama vs Duke in the Sweet 16. If they suddenly decide to quit doing stupid passes and start hitting some 3s...who knows
