So we may have lost Chuck because of NIL, we may be losing JQ because of NIL, but we're going to pull a kid from the portal who signed on to play for fricking Bill Self? I know he had a terrible freshman year, but still. Udeh isn't playing anywhere for free after playing at Kansas very much not for free.

Yes. Don’t know for sure, but read JQ’s NIL was about $450K, and he has worked for it in lots of little ways. I paid him through a Cameo to do a happy birthday for a friend (Montana Fouts is on this app too) and I bought a “Jelly Fam” baseball hat at a store in downtown Tuscaloosa.

Jarin Stevenson has an opportunity to come and start for Alabama this upcoming season.
I think Nate Oats is hammering that Noah Clowney is fixing to be drafted in the first round.

I'm sure he is, but JQ also does most if not all of his own NIL stuff. There's no sugar daddy booster paying him 6 figures on a "talent retainer" or some nonsense like that. If someone else steps in and offers to connect him with a sugar daddy booster who will pay him the same to do absolutely nothing besides play basketball he's going to consider it. He'd be crazy not to.

So if the Stevenson thing doesn't work what on earth are we gonna do at the 4? I know people keep saying Udeh but he has scheduled other visits and not us, so at best it seems like a maybe.
