Tyler Burton looks like an intriguing prospect.

Tyler Burton is still leaning heavily towards the pro route and is listed as do not contact in the portal, per source

Rothstein tweeted at 3:15 EST that Burton was entering the portal and at 3:37 Adam Zagoria quote tweeted with what I posted above.

4 star recruit but only averaged 1.3 pts and 1.8 rebounds last year for Washington St. Probably really really raw but maybe he could kind of help solidify the backend of the defense. I don’t know how much I’d expect for someone that couldn’t get but 6 minutes a game at Washington St. We are at the point though we can’t be too choosy. Maybe he develops and helps in the future.

dude got half a block a game in those 6 minutes. im actually pretty intrigued by that. never saw them play but gueye was who played ahead of him as their best player and an expected future pro so I wouldnt put too much weight on the lack of minutes. could very well be a diamond in the rough type with adequate D at the very least.

A couple #Alabama basketball newcomers appear to have their numbers for next season.

Freshman Sam Walters will take Brandon Miller’s No. 24, his high school number.

Transfer Latrell Wrightsell will take No. 12, vacated by former walk-on Delaney Heard who is in the portal.

One thing I do know today. I check this board daily hoping we have someone coming in to fill one of our three available slots for next season.

We are going to get killed in the paint if we don't find some help and find it fast.

Some on here don't believe that.

I think everybody on here knows this...we've reached out to multiple bigs since the Bediako news.

Jarin Stevenson is very much in play for us.

Nick Pringle is still a beast. But we do need some other length.

Pringle will be outstanding. But he cannot do it by himself we had all kinds of options last year and even at that older physical teams really hurt us as we all know.

We need at least 2 good big men. Must have.

Other numbers for next year:

Freshman guard Kris Parker will wear his high school No. 0, vacated by Jaden Bradley who transferred to Arizona.

Freshman forward Mo Dioubate will wear his high school No. 10, previously worn by Dom Welch.

You can see an off center #5 on Estrada’s locker…I’m assuming it’s #55, which is the number he had on his commitment edit

Just rewatched the SECCG…Bediako is a huge loss. He blocked, altered, contested everything. Really turned into a defensive monster this past year.

He WILL be a big loss but on a positive note the UPSIDE of Pringle is crazy.

I'm excited for a new challenge this season. How will we adjust not having Angry Chuck protecting the paint and can we get another transfer or two to help out Pringle.
