AMEN! Some are just as bad as the ones they complain about.

I would argue that the post strongly correlates with the statement of Miller’s attorney (important pieces of which are easily proven by the security cameras in the area) and plausibly explains why Miller was neither suspended nor anything other than a witness in the criminal proceedings.

Conversely, some are having to jump on the “corrupt police, corrupt DA, corrupt judges, corrupt University” bandwagon to make their point. Many are going outright conspiracy theory

But you are 100% right. I have definitely let emotion and bias get the better of me

Speaking of conspiracy theory, we know the NCAA would NEVER influence officials to help or hurt one team. But for kicks and giggles, let’s say they did for Bama this tourney. Would they want to help us or hurt us?

Helping us seems like it could draw viewers as the national story continues to play (people wanting to see us fail). Hurting us would be for obvious reasons to try and keep the news on basketball and not a side story.

I just wish this all wouldn’t have happened, mostly for the young boy’s mother, but selfishly to not taint probably the greatest season and player we’ve ever had.

whaaaaa?? is this the same Tim+Brando we have all grown to love and adore? Unbelievable. I bet he just figured this would be an easy way to gain some brownie points with the Bama fan base, when he has no horse in the race.

Beard would get better offers then Ole Miss, I doubt he ends up there. Will Wade is probably the best they can do.

Maybe if everyone just settled down and behaved like adults and stopped filling in the gaps that we don't know with whatever made them feel good and advanced the agenda they were pushing we'd be in a better spot with this horrific story right now.

Yup. I think (and hope) it could be true because it makes some sense, but we can't take it as factual information.

For all we know, the guy could be just filling in the gaps with things that make sense and pronouncing it as truth. If we're taking this as "facts", we're not any better than the media doing some selective reporting without any fact-checking.

I'm with Coach Oats....we are do for a good game collectively. Burnett, Sears, & JB have all struggled these past two games. I believe they will get it figured and they'll be ready to go Wednesday.

I think what bothers me is most of the mainstream media folks (not Clay, I'm convinced he's doing this for clicks) refuse to connect the dots.

The text is what seems to be everybody's big issue (for the halfway informed), but the text and police dispatch are just 7 minutes apart. Some people are still painting the scene that Miller was simply there to deliver the gun and the timeline simply doesn't fit that narrative at all.

My honest take is that if we had a PR team that was worth a shite, the media storm would have slowed down by now. But since the shooting, they didn't notice or ignored a pat down for 12 games, didn't have a prepared statement for Oats when the Miller news came to light (which given the date of the hearing it shouldn't have been unexpected), and didn't ensure that Miller's lawyer was ready with the release of his side of the story. What a botch job. Do they only work during football season?

We definitely keep “tripping over ourselves” and have made it worse. It’s possible that the media with an agenda would have kept pushing it despite those errors, but this definitely added fuel to their cause that should have been avoided.

I’ve said the same. We seemingly don’t have the A-team on this crisis management despite this scenario justifying it. This is the kind of shite that causes coaches to leave no matter how much you pay them.

I mean , yes, they did blow a double digit lead down to only a 4 point lead, but they just won by 11.
