I figured the Miller situation further proves people don't actually look into the narrative, they just regurgitate it.

Having to play the winner of Ark/Ms St would be a tough draw for our first game in the SEC tourney.

I'm kind a disappointed in the court system to be honest with y'all because a gag order should of been placed on the situation

Gag orders only apply to parties in the case - prosecution, defense, etc.

The court cannot issue gag orders on the media or anyone else not involved. It's that pesky first amendment thing acting up again.

The only thing a gag order could have potentially done here would have been prevent Miller's attorney from issuing the statement clarifying his involvement, which would have absolutely made the situation worse.

Haven’t they had situations where they make hearings/trials closed to the media due to concerns about fair trial or jurors being influenced? Not saying this one rises to that occasion, but I thought that has been done in multiple very public situations.

Sorry to change the subject. But two Stat questions.

An airball lands in someone's hands. Does this count as a rebound?

A rebound that hits the rim is bantered around then lands on the floor and a scrum ensues. Someone finally ends up with the ball. Is this person credit with a loose ball or a rebound. I assume there is a LB category on the stat sheets?

Sometimes in cases where there are national security issues, minors are involved, or other very unique circumstances like legitimate threats to the life of witnesses. Even in a lot of those cases, the transcript with redactions may be available.

Open, public trials are the very bedrock of our system and the media has the same right to attend as Joe Q Public.

I wouldn’t start Miller against Auburn. I would make him come off the bench. That Pat Down shite was fricked up(even tho he has been doing it the whole season) and insensitive

Nate Oats Says Brandon Miller's Patdown Pregame Intro Won't Happen Again

The Alabama head coach opened his postgame press conference after the Arkansas win to clarify the action is inappropriate.

If it was fricked up and insensitive yesterday it was fricked up and insensitive for the last 6 weeks when you didn't give a shite about it.

Alabama remained #2 in the NET after yesterdays win over #14 Arkansas.

With Oklahoma’s win yesterday, they moved up to #65, making Alabama’s loss to Oklahoma a Q1 loss.

With that happening, Alabama doesn’t have a single loss outside of the Quadrant 1.

Exactly. Stop buying into the clickbait outrage bullshite. Next time he screams “I’m here”, professional pussy Dan Wolken will write a piece about how inappropriate announcing his presence is because if not for his presence, a young mother would still be alive.

frick all these people.

Right. And to be clear, I'm not really defending it. Someone should have addressed it weeks ago and told them they need to stop. But literally nothing whatsoever has changed during that time, so punishing Miller for it now in response to more media nonsense would be ridiculous when not a single one of them gave two shits about it for weeks.

Nothing that we do will satisfy the media mob. These people would just as soon see our athletic program burn to the ground. They turned their guns on us a long time ago. Every time something happens people like Finebaum, Travis, etc. make a mountain out of a molehill. Drama with Alabama sports sells because our fans are so passionate and there is so much hate from other teams and the national media.

After Clowney’s late season shooting struggles, do mocks have him still projected to go 1st round this year? I saw a 2024 one recently that had him 1st round but haven’t looked at a 2023 board recently.
