Probably had to offer that kind of a deal given the likelihood of sanctions. No one is going there on a 4 year deal when it'll probably take at least that long to build a competitive program if they lose scholarships and catch a postseason ban.

That's exactly how i read it. We have a core group of guys they will see significant minutes, and the rest is situational. We have the depth to be able to play the best matchup, but who is competent at a high major level (like usual). Some rotation guys may see less minutes. But they'll be in a position to succeed when they do come. in.

People forget we basically didn’t have Clowney in that UNC game. I think we would have handled them fairly easily if he didn’t get hurt

Them and UNC are starting to heat up at the right time.
Oklahoma got destroyed tonight and went from a trap game a couple of weeks ago to a game we should handle by double digits. I know we're tired of playing them seemingly every year but this is probably the most winnable that I can remember.
