No. But i do get a sense of dread when i see a pass go towards on open Gurley behind the 3 line. He's just missed so many good looks. He's solid down low. But he misses a lot of open 3s. And makes more than 2 or 3 dribbles, then it's usually a turnover. But to his credit, he's started doing a lot of other things very well.

Time to end that streak. Of course the damn thing is during a parade. But I'm hoping I'm deep enough in the route that I'll be able to watch the whole game.

Some really early names I've heard are Miami Heat asst and former Irish G Chris Quinn, Oklahoma coach Porter Moser and Loyola coach Drew Valentine.

But it's wide open and there doesn't seem to be an automatic successor

12-7 overall against Mizzu, 8-4 in the last 12 but they've beaten us 3-4 and the last 2 at Mizzu by 12ppg.

How did Gonzaga lose at HOME to Loyola Maramount and only drop 1 spot in the NET?

@ Missouri (0-3) and @ aTm (0-0 with one cancellation) are the only two places we haven't won in the Oats era if i'm not mistaken. Need to change that at both places this season.

Last time we won @ Missouri was January 16, 2019. Avery Johnson Jr led us in scoring with 14. Donta Hall had 12, Kira Lewis and Dazon Ingram each had 9.

Last time we won @ aTm was on March 7, 2015. Retin Obasohan led us in scoring with 12. Rodney Cooper, Levi Randolph and Jimmie Taylor all had 11.

We are to the point in the season where it takes a positive or negative trend to affect NET, KP, Torvik, etc. much more than that. Even then it takes a lot if you were really good early in the season. UConn is still top 10 in pretty much every ranking system despite having a nightmarish January.

Since 2002, every NCAA National Champion has finished the regular season ranked in @kenpomeroy’s Top 40 offensive efficiency and Top 25 defensive efficiency.

Here are the teams that currently meet the criteria. How many do you think will make it to the Final 4?

Illinois isn't either of those anymore after last night. Still, I dread a potential second round matchup with them or Creighton. They are not 7-10 seed teams but that is probably where they both end up.

A lot of names in that post. I decided to look a few up.

We know where Kira is.

Ingram played in the g league last year for the Maine Celtics where JD is currently playing. I don't think he's playing anywhere right now.

Donta Hall has been overseas, playing the last couple years in Monaco. And good for him. That would be a pretty cool place to spend in your 20s. And being in the top league in France, he's probably getting paid decently.

Retin Obasohan is playing in Lyons, France on an A league team. Being Belgian, he's probably getting along well over there.

Rodney Cooper quit playing ball 6 years ago. Apparently he started a company that seems powdered hydration mixes.

Levi Randolph is still playing professionally in Israel. He's made a solid career out of it and played in some cool places.

Jimmie Taylor isn't playing this season (or there nothing on his Wikipedia page). But played in Europe. Last year he was in Poland. But he's been around.

List is missing Purdue (#3 offensive efficiency, #18 defensive efficiency).

Not sure if he has any interest in coaching, but if he does I hope we bring Levi back in some capacity whenever he retires. He's an exceptionally bright guy and can probably bring a lot to the table like Pett has.

Yeah I think Burnett coming back means fewer minutes for both Griffen and Welch, but I take shorten the bench to mean removing certain players from the rotation unless it's late in a blowout. I'm not sure there is any sense in doing that with this team. There's no one on this roster who I see sitting at the scorers table waiting to check in and immediately get a sense of dread. Even our end of the bench guys have pretty well defined roles that they do well in.
This is what depth looks like (the Kentucky, Duke, N.C., Kansas type we're accustomed to seeing).
This is, also, why we should rarely see a bad game from the team. When somebody hasn't brought their A-game, someone else will pick up the slack...and this even includes Miller!

Who deserves to see his minutes cut? I've had no issues with our rotations this season. It's tough to manage a deep bench but Oats has found a way.
yeah I have no issue with everyone playing rn. It’s working. I do wish Welch could get going offensively tho.

I'm not worried about Dom and his shooting. He just needs to play more. You don't make 140+ of them over the last 2 years without being a good shooter.

Lundardi's bracket has Ala vs Creighton/UNC and Houston vs Indiana/Missouri (no way Missouri ends up at 8th seed but anyway). Those would be really good 2nd round games in B'ham.

I see highlight clips of him on Twitter all the time. Dude is still making some incredibly violent dunks look routine. Seems like they love him over there.
